Storms are hard, and I’ve often said “God, I’m tired of storms and I just want quiet, easy boredom”, but what kind of growth comes from that? We’re naturally seeking Him more in the storms. I love how you point out that the “secret to resilience is our willingness to bend and submit in the storm”. God doesn’t expect us to weather a storm always with a smile and joy and excitement in our heart, but we can stand strong in our knowledge that He is walking us through it. My husband stayed home from work today because of issues with his back. He simply could not rely on his own strength. He was curious of todays devotional so we read it together and we’re humbled by Gods timing and our current situation! How amazing His grace. What an awesome reminder. We submit to Him daily. Thank you Jesus, our Healer! ( BTW this song we play often at our church. It’s one of our favs! We are both on the worship team. ) I LOVE your version of this song!!!!
