Just bought mine...Great & helpful tutorial. Thank you Mark!
Great job Adorama! thank you
That was quite the page turner, thanks Mark!
A Perth trip to make this video - I wonder how long till the next visitors will be allowed in...?!?
Great tips for a superb bit of kit!
That’s just convinced me to get one of these! Cheers Mark!
That was a brilliant summary !!
Had mine for a couple of months now. Motion Timelapse is my favourite too.
Do you have footage. It looks so choppy when walking
Bravo. Just picked up the Osmo a couple hours ago. found your video helpful. Thanks!
Perfect option for anyone on a budget.
This was a very clear review. Thank you
Awesome. Thanks very much.
Very helpful!! Thanks!!!
great video marc!
Thank you for explaining this so simply to this novice!
Thanks a lot for your tutorial movie. I bought the OSMO Plus, The Osmo2 and the G6 Feiyu mit my GoPro.
I am still learning how to use them perfectly.
best wishes from germany.
Thanks for the info! Cheers
Insightful review
Very nice I do learn a lot. Thanks
Thanks for the tutorial! Wow, footage from Perth! That my hometown. It's so rare to see UA-camrs filming in Perth.
omg it's in Perth, I am staying there now. Nice video!
Best and clearest explanation of these modes that I've been able to find. Being on a low budget I've bought an Osmo 2 for a bargain price and have coupled it with my old iphone 7, (I've installed a new battery in the phone). Can't wait to try these techniques out. I'm new to this game but not new to photography. I'm hoping to be able to put my photographic knowledge to good use with the videoing. Many thanks for this video. Merry Christmas from Wales, (UK).
Nice Job !!!!
Muito bom video com tudo bem explicado!!
Perth!! My home town !!😀
on mine ones i dont have slow motion mode? can you help
Will time lapse work for galaxy note9?
I wish I knew you were in Perth. Would have been amazing to have met you and gotten some ideas/pointers from you. Hope you enjoyed your time here.
Dang, sorry I missed you. Make sure you're following me on Instagram @jmarkwallace
Same here...I think I've been following you and Adorama when I first started getting into photography about 10 years ago I think. Would've also loved to meet and say hello when you were in Perth !
Very nice do they came for cameras like the D5300?
Nice demonstration, except where do you get the menu for the hyper and motion lapse?
What do you use to add music to the motion lapse video?
Hello,
I just purchased my dji. Using it for video of course. Is there a way to pause a video and pick up where I left off? Rather than edit it later?
Any info is appreciated.
Thank you
Great Video, I've got an iPhone 8 plus with a Waterproof cover, to use my Osmo I have to take off the cover, which is a bit off a pain.
Can you make a video explaining how to use light trail and long exposure with Hyperlapse ?
Exactly! I want to do the same thing, a motion lapse of the stars but out of photos. Is there any way you found out?
Can I do astro photography with that gimbal using a long exposure app and a tripod?
Mark can you do a video on panning 180 and 360 degree panos please
Harry
why my controls not showing the slow mo option?
Hi Mark and everyone. Have you ever encountered this issue? I recorded some motion-lapse videos with my OM2, and they play normally on the DJI Go app as well as the video player on my Samsung phone. However when I import them into imovie to make a clip, the thumbnails of these videos are shown as black, while other "normal" videos taken by OM2 have picture thumbnails. When I play this black videos, they do play, but show nothing but pitch black. It's so weird. Any advice will be very helpful. Thank you.
Thanks for the review, which one is better - Snoppa Atom , Osmo mobile 2 or Smooth 4 ? I am planning for a vacation trip with family - and I want to make the best with a right stabilizer and face tracking - Please advise! Mostly I will be using Samsung galaxy 9 plus and Note 9
Here’s a good question… when using my gimbal, it saves all the footage to the DJI app… how do I switch it to drop the footage into my photo album, or even my iCloud account?
Hi Mark. I just bought my osmo 2 and I had s9+ but I don't have slowmo on my camera if I used my osmo. Any Idea?
OK, I had that before but for some reason, It's not showing up again! How to get the tracking indicator on my camera's screen?
Is it possible to do motion lapse shooting full video instead of half second stills?
Yes, that's just called shooting a normal video. :) You can use the thumb pad to control the motion for smooth video.
At Malaysia it cost around 200 USD. Sad.
my gimbal is too hot on working time...and that gimbal ' s head is not stablize properly ...pls give me solution .
Hello there. Thank you for your good video. I have a question. By using the motionlapse, I can't select a higher number of minutes to record than 60. The 90,120 and so on options are in red and can't choose them. That would be using point A to E. The less letters I select, the less duration I can select to record... Thank you very much in advance for your help and time.
Is there a way to stop the "bobbing" up and down? I want one to film walking down some trails in a park for a customer, but every video I see you can notice that up and down motion. I'm assuming that is just part of it. I'd be using a iPhone 10. Thanks for making your video, very informative.
hey Mark, Done with your tour?
Nope, still riding. So much to see.
I just got one yesterday n found ur video n thank u for the tips n....hang on....I NO THAT AREA, YOUR A FELLO PERTH BOY😁.
I'm an Arizona boy, but I've been traveling the globe for the past 4 years.
You guys are fckng Awesome.. Thnx for evry Video 🔥💓💓💓💓
I could think of things to do with that.
Hi. What's the video file resolution at which the timelapse and motion timelapse are rendered , 720p or 1080p? Thanks!
SkySpirit unfortunately depending on your device 720p, unless they update the firmware.
Vertigo effect / dolly zoom tutorial plz ...
Amol Ingle zoom all the way in/ walk towards object and slowly zoom out
These 2 features give it an advantage over a hero 7. Yes the pocket is smaller. But way more expensive.
Have one and I love it...139$ here in canada.. I have the osmo DJI 3
It would have been cool if there was a Lightning/Micro USB/ USB-C port so you don't need Bluetooth and you can charge the phone without cable.
The port would be able to swap to another port with attaches to the Osmo.
My motion lapse doesn't start at point A, nor does it traverse anywhere from A to B. It just stays at the moment I clicked start. Have u ever faced this? It was working perfectly 24hrs ago.
What about the jittery effect where the gimbal conflicts with the iPhone internal stabilization
Bolarich you cant turn it off if OIS, you need to walk really slow.
Bolarich its still there you can see how poorly it shows while doing time lapse of walking
Anything like this for the GoPro?
no, the gopro karma grip is only a gimbal, keeps it steadier than the clips shown here though.
Richi Jenkin You can buy an adapter for the Osmo Mobile 2 on Amazon for $30 and use it with your GoPro.
HOW TO ZOOM SLOWLY AND SMOOTHLY?
Every time I try to zoom in or out, at the very moment of start, there is a quick fast zoom and then it goes smooth!!
I would appreciate if anyone could help 🙏
M Parkook dji go app/settings/zoom speed
for the price not bad, the micro motion is to much for a gimbals.
The link to that tripod no longer works - Adorama doesn't sell it anymore.
we still get up and down bump video using this gimbal.
what's up with the video stutter.
Just got mine yesterday. BEWARE! Can only record timelapse and motionlapse video in 720p. Unbelievable!
I had asked about that before I bought
Very Good tutorial, but you have fallen into the trap like others stating that the phone can be charged whilst using the Osmo Mobile 2
At 1:20 You look like you are using the iPhone 6 Plus so could you demonstrate how you can connect the cable to charge the phone from the Osmo whilst keeping it balanced in the clamp??? this is the bit I don't understand??? if they had made? or left? a slot for the cable to get to the socket on the phone, then it would have been a great design, but at the moment, it is flawed. PROVE ME WRONG....
But your video is good,
Hey dummy! Your shirts on upside do... oh wait! I'm the dummy, it's your camera that's upside down... duh.. LOL Great video and thank you
Why is johnny sins doing photography?
1:13.... ummmm do you not know that a day has 24 hours? ahahahah ;)
Perth is sortof boring but how come you made it like so amazing again... hahahaha
Dji mobile is a bad product, no motion video feature, just timelapse features.
Who pays $130? Has the tax man left the country? Why is it people like to quote fake price? You cannot buy anything for example $9.99 there's always tax on it? Standard mind control technique! Otherwise good tutorial!!!
Ehm...it was even available about 99$ long before your comment incl. Tax....! Depends on your State/Country how Tax Sales get together nothing to do with Mind Control.
Good attempt, terrible hyper lapse. You moved way too fast and the video is erratic. One needs patient and a snail pace because the video is sped up anyway.
Super jerky video. Hard to watch looked like a wooden rollercoastrer
