It has been postponed because they don't want competition with one of the biggest stars in Indian cinema, Superstar Rajinikanth's movie Vettaiyan. You should check out Vettaiyan in the theatres because it has already been out on October 10th. The actor from Kanguva, Suriya, has a lot of respect for Rajinikanth and doesn't wanna ruin Rajini's legacy in Indian cinema. So that's why it has been postponed
