    you know evertime ive moved to a different project on my jeep Ive cleaned everything up put tools away and started over,I welded up body panels move on to sanding priming,then on to welding frame,paint etc,but I always reorganized everything before Ive moved on and prepared and wrote everthing down.

    Beautiful Jeep! Very good craftsmanship. I’m installing an LS in my ‘88 Jeep YJ now. It’s not frame off but will be New Ford 8.8, 4L60E transmission, and ‘08 4.8. Keeping all the original gauges. My Jeep only has 66,000 original miles and in perfect condition. I have a spread sheet of all cost and as you said doing complete rebuild on engine and transmission and purchasing the best parts possible I will be over $10,000 on my LS swap.

    • @BobWilson84

      Phoenix Graphics... search through the 1980s renegade decals. They have various colors available, this one is “terra-cotta”. And they won’t fit perfectly on the TJ since the front fender line is different. I’m sure if you took you time and made a template it would work.

    Hello Bob, I really enjoyed watching your Jeep come together. I hope I’ll be shearing that feeling of a job well done with my Jeep YJ build pretty soon. Can you tell me about your wheel and tire combination? I really like the way it fills up the wheel wells and the stance with the factory fender flares. What is the wheel size and backspacing of the rim and are you using wheel spacers?

    • @BobWilson84
      @BobWilson84  4 роки тому

      265/75/16 tires. Mickey Thompson classic II wheels, no spacers. I don’t have the backspacing handy, but they are only available with one option so should be easy for you to find. Stock fender flares

    • @BobWilson84
      @BobWilson84  4 роки тому

      It shifts nice, with 3.55 gears I use 4th gear the most to keep the RPMs happy. I know the AX15 gets a bad wrap sometimes but I think that's unfair. If you hammer any transmission it will eventually fail... But, as for driving impressions I think it handles the power well.
