Kona Process 134 DL 27.5 Live Ride Review

- I raved about Kona's carbon 29er Process 134, but the alloy, 27.5in wheel Process 134 definitely has some unexpected issues when you drive it hard.
Thanks to Giro, Peaty’s and Crud for sponsoring the channel, Kona for lending the bike in for test and for my Patreon supporters for their monthly pledges. Was eyeing up one of these. Bought a 2021 trek fuel ex 8 instead. Happy day's.
Lol I find it funny with people critiquing any wheel size below 29in
Great bike
Ha interesting. I've got the 27.5 2020 Al, so not even the DL. I've changed the SX gear train to Slx and the Recon up front for a 160mm Pike. I'm no expert and havent got a lot to compare it to but I absolutely love it. Mine is a medium though so maybe less frame flex and no silly dropper length.
Hi! How Tall Are You?
Voodoo Bizango Pro! Wish you could review one. Also do you have a favourite hardtail to date?
I used to run a maxxis DHF on the front until I realised it is not a good tire for the front, specially if its wide, it slides unpredictably more often than not and doesn´t dig in like other tires.
Looking forward to your review of the new Hightower
What camera did you use for this video? Seems to capture gradient better than most other pov footage I’ve seen
Pretty sure I was still using the 9 when I shot this. I've got a ten now.
I can appreciate a mullet, especially for shorter riders . However, it's got to be specifically designed as a mullet, like the Santa Cruz Bronson, and not some patched together 29er or 27.5 converted to a mullet. But, a full 27.5---No Thanks.
We used to ride the same size tyre front and back and now you’re complaining?
Have Kona ever made a good full sus bike? I loved my old Explosif steel hardtail.
Watch the 29er Process vid. That was a ripper. Also Stinky, Stab, Dawg etc.
@@GuyKesTV Will have a look. Still in love with my Jeht though. It's a brilliant bike.
The kona process 111 was a game changer for the whole industry way ahead of its time.
Absolutely loved my Honzo back in 2013 but it was heavy as hell and a bit agricultural compared to steel specific brands’ offerings. That said no mtb company has even come close bmx brands in terms of refinement, the pinnacle being a Fit S4 Aitken.
@@JimmyJamesonJnr I have one. I love it.
Quick review: decent price but a little bit shit
