nice catch catching a BNSF daygo too
3002 is my favorite f59phi by coaster
That first COASTER horn sounds like a Seattle Sounder horn.
LA Railfan oh yeah Ik 3001 Is an F59PHI and that’s the engines that sounder uses
Train 1 coaster 2303 running 3 muniutes loud K5la horn at Carlsbad vilige
Brent- love your youtubes! We are trainless in Peoria, AZ. We get our fix watching your videos, Keep on keeping on!
AE Riley thx sm, I actually live in scottsdale, AZ I film a lot in Cali, but I also go to Tucson and flagstaff to film as well
P42DC 206 now resides on the east coast as a Washington DC based unit. I saw it more than a few times on various trains such as the Silver Services, Palmetto, Carolinian and Northeast Regional. Since I live only 35 miles south of DC, it's now my turn to catch it
Cool catch with 2310
I really like 2301, one of my favorite cab cars, And by other favorite cab cars are, Amtrak Pacific Surfliner cab car 6905
Coaster 2310, Amtrak 9536, MBTA 1528, And all of The Metrolink Hyundai rotems.
2310 is my favorite coaster cab car also
1st train is a GO transit 💀💀
New Subscriber!
Nice!
Great video!
That was a funny horn
Nice video and I'm glad I subbed to your UA-cam channel I just found it 20 minutes ago
6905 always goes fast
Nice video :) 2301 sounds almost like CDTX 8303 now! Amazing how horns change.
@@GamingRailfanner True but I did say almost. As both units do have quite different sounding K5s
@@GamingRailfanner Any clips? And 2301 has a semi Mutt Early-90s Doubletag, while 8303 wears a 95-96 Squaretag
2301 has a Double tag Raised letter K5LA, I’d say 2303 is the closest to 8303
Awesome Video
33:42, If I was the engineer, that would’ve scared the crap outta me and I would blare the horn the hardest I could.
2303 was a go transit
but 2304 had da worst horn
I like train videos on UA-cam 👍
46:49
The Cab Car Bell
And Crossing bells sounded in sync a bit
3001 is my favorite f59 by coaster
cool you seen 206 three times
Ultimate Catches but oh no 2303 with a Canadian Emergency Horn Oh Boy And That’s Definitely Not An RS5T Horn
Coaster 632 and 3002 actually had 2 cabcar's.
What kind of horn does the rolling stock In this video have? Cause I’m pretty sure charger is K5LA raised letter and surfliner cab is K5la but what about coaster cabs or the f59phi or the f40phm?
Charger is MP K5LA, Coaster Cab Cars are equipped with K5LAs, except for 2304, but back then, 2303 also had one. The MK F40PHM-2s and EMD F59PHIs have K5LAs
@@AVeryRandomPerson ok thanks. I am very into train horns so I just wanted to know. But what does MP mean?
@@MetroSouthRailVideos Micro Precision, who resigned the K5LA after they bought Nathan-Air Chime, to have a sharper #3 Bell, and redid the castings. However, the #3 Bell on an MP K5LA is frequently tuned flat.
@@AVeryRandomPerson So basically lots of K5LA madness in Carlsbad.
But in the vid he said “ let’s see how bad this K5TA horn is. What’s a k5ta?
Nice what camera do you use?
When the camera shook did I like shove you with the wind? Or just jumpscared?
Ar 59:35
It’s like a brick flying past your face, just super sized. Horrible aero dynamics so it is a magnet for wind
13:20 ahh a 1 bell 😂
The wind at 59:34 haha
awesome epic video of these coasters and Amtraks trains going back and forth
