100% feel Helen. My family has lots of recipes that we keep near and dear. The whole of the family would have a riot if someone, that wasn't family, took them.
For example, only 4 people in my whole family know my, (I don't even know how many.) great-grandmother's waffle recipe. Those people are, my mother, my grand-mother, my cousin, and myself. You have to EARN that waffle.
So the thought of something that important to us, being made less sacred... Well, It is not a good feeling, trust me.

Was it confirmed parody? I can imagine it being real. My Mum's friendship group have dramatic fights over nothing. Two of them once ended up pulling each other's hair over whether shiraz is better than merlot. The man who jumped in near the end read like a troll. But till that point it looked credible to me.
