- Hi guys! Long time no see, but this one is juicy. I know you've seen on my social some pics of this guitar and asked me since then to make a review, so there you have it.
I drop some heavy ones on many matters, maybe a little too much about Djent, i hope nobody gets it personal.
These NK guitar are quite a thing if... IF they're all like this one.

Agree 100% on your djent sentiments. I loved the inovation back in the early bulb and AAL days. Nowdays I mostly hear poor songwriting done with perfect production…its strange. Djent kids are more obsessed with tone than writing good songs :/
Nowdays everything sounds great, and with presets, sounding "good" is easier than ever, still... everything sounds the same for djent. And i'm including myself for this matter!
where can i buy this guitar?
I've been sick of breakdowns for 15+ years. Holy fuck
Awesome review and playing! I totally agree with you about djent. I've acquired an NK as well, and prepping for a playthrough on it. Cheers!
How long did it take you to get
Ngl was blown away by the frets on my NK. Perfect polish, super small tops, amazing setup, and the balled and polished fret ends feel amazing
Where did you order yours from?

Agree pretty much with everything except the tuners, mine are metal, feel sturdy and great tuning stabile too. I bought this one to replace a Strandberg standard 7 and overall I do think the Strandberg was a bit better but not by much. For the price, these guitars are fantastic. And yes guys, communication with the dealer is horrendous, I asked many things and the answer was always a random ‘yes’. Still went for it and got a pretty much perfect guitar. Only real con for me was the weight, bit on the heavy side for a headless.
I've got the same guitar (color apart) and I agree with you 100% on all the line. I bought it at the beginning of the 2022 and I can declare same pros, same cons. The neck is the most impressive part of the instrument. Its shape, material and frets are very very well done and finished. Also my guitar stay still in tune even after a long period down on my roster. The pickups are not that bad but not that good either in fact I think I'll change them in the next future. For the cost you can have a great instrument.
Good luck pulling your new pickups apart to solder to the NK pickup base plate because there is no standard for offset pickup angles for multi scale guitars. There is plenty of videos on how to do it but still a concern I have one of these guitars and I have already found my local luthier won’t touch it but I live in a small town so maybe someone will somewhere.
Great video and beautiful guitar. I love the original design on theses. My first headless guitar was a NK and for the super cheap price I have to say it's was quite awesome, super light and super fun to play. I wouldn't recommend it as a first guitar to beginners because it definitely needed some woodwork and full setup to play properly but as a mod base for advanced players it's really nice. Ah and yeah the bridge was complete trash to be honest ahah. I don't agree with you about bergs endurneck shape tough, I own two and after some time I still think this is the most comfortable neck shape I have ever tried, but hey everyone's hands are different. :)
where can i buy this guitar?
make the body issues a feature! I certainly would!
I own an NK and the bridge is fantastic where it counts. I have the same tuners as on your guitar on mine and they are not plastic. They are metal and hold tune better than every guitar I own including the $1100 Ibanez qx54qm which I also own. I agree that adjusting height is finicky and annoying but I dont adjust them very often. I rather have the great tuning stability. Even hours and hours of bending doesnt push the strings out of tune! I also love the neck. Its literally a rounded endure neck. Best of both worlds imo. Buying the more expensive Ibanez headless has actually made me appreciate my NK so much that Im planning on buying another one (of the 2022 versions coming out soon).
Wow I gotta buy one of the NK then. Should I skip the Ibanez headless?
@@alifnor If you dont plan on changing the pickups and want more pickup selections, then go Ibanez. If you already know what pickups you like and plan on replacing the stock ones on the NK which are trash, then go NK. Also be aware people have reported quality control issues with each as well.
I have one, I must have got lucky the body is great and the neck, the electronics are just adequate, the pots are tiny so they need upgrading I would love to upgrade the pickups but with a multi scale ‘fanned fret’ guitar it’s not that simple because every manufacturer has their pickup slant at a different angle so you can’t buy one off the shelf at least not yet, so you either have to get one made or the other method is to get your new pickup and pull it apart and then solder that to the NK base plate, there are plenty of videos on UA-cam on how to do this but still a concern.
There is fret deflection with that fan fret design it makes everything fret out a percentage of the sound is the fret is in the way fretting out. But some of those sounds are cool.
Great video! I agree with all you said even though I don't have any experience with headless guitars. You should try GOC guitars, I've seen and heard great things about them, I'm looking to buy a headless guitar in the future
I wanted to buy a GOC or an NK last year, but then i saw that the prices of the GOC went from 500euros to almost 1000euros for the same product. So fuck that, i'm gonna try NK
The GOCs are a bit nicer, they are production quality now. The NKs are set up really well, but have finishing issues.
If I could get an NK 8 string with a set up done but the neck and body unfinished I'd cum my pants
Rally interesting video. Any issues with truss rod adjustments? I'm considering trying one out but I haven't really heard anyone talk about this with these models😐
Great video! So tuning is EBEADGB?
Great video! Does this guitar have stainless steel frets? I think some of the older NKs did but not sure about the new ones
Thank you mate. I'm not sure, they look like nickel (edit).
Does the fretboard get dirty easily?
Hey there duder! Sorry to be late to the party but Im curious as to how you were able to intonation the guitar in drop E so exceptional. Aside from the string gauge, did you have to do any fancy work with the bridge such as reversing the saddles to compensate for tuning and thicker strings? Or anything of that sort?
Or is the guitar really that natural at its construction?
Thank you mate, i didn't do anything aside putting the strings and turn the trus-rod.
@@TheMisanthropist432 lol wowww. I've heard many instances with headless guitars being difficult to tune low and needing special treatment done just to mitigate the issue.
Now I really want one of these bad boys! Thanks for the video! 🤘
Thanks for the video. I wanted to know how you like this with drop E? I’m thinking about getting a second multi scale 7 to replace my 8 which I play in EAEADGBE but ideally wanted a multiscale closer to Ormsby with the 28-26.5” option. My current 26.5 Schecter on a 74 E is still pretty floppy
The multiscale here is 26.5 to 25.5, not the best for drop E. I have a 0.80 but it's still a compromise.
@@TheMisanthropist432 Hey buddy, great video, did you have to drill out the saddle to fit the 0.80? I've seen videos where guys struggle to get a 0.64 in this bridge. Love your content!
@@spiral1349Tank you mate. I actually didn't. But the nut seems to be at the edge of his capabilities, don't go beyond that!
@@TheMisanthropist432 Thank you for the reply!
Nice tones, man! :) What string gauges do you use? I have some problems with the lowest string (I also own NK headles guitar). Cheers!
For you it would be the second lowest string (I still use it as 7-string) :D
@@creatio1 I don't remember mate, also other people reported me problems with havier gauges but i didn't have any. The big one is an 0.80 in E an octave lower, i guess the 6th is at least a 0.68.
@@TheMisanthropist432 Yeah, that is what I have - 68. Anything lower doesn't seem to reliably hold any note.
looks awesome! I just got one myself and threw up a review video on my channel. How is yours holding up?
Very well thanks, keep on doing your thing mate!
@@TheMisanthropist432 Great to hear! Thank you 🙂
So AliExpress is a legitimate source and safe to use?
Where do you order? I can't find their Aliexpress store.

Nah man you’re not getting another body. I waited for a neck replacement for more than a year now. The guy promised me a replacement but i still didn’t get any
I was suspecting that. This one will do just fine. Hope you don't have functional issues, cheers!
is it custom order model?
Regular model mate.
The Djent formula works. . . . BUT DON'T USE IT!!!
It's kind of like getting the slap bass sound and never being able to get away from it you have slapped base forever flap flap and he slap slap slap slap slap. Oh yeah you kids call djent. Go call palini nolly and spaghetti. Just kidding some of that stuff is really cool.
ahahahahahahahahah
I use Elixer .009 - .052 on mine. in drop A
