Try to get into the top alliance in your kingdom and participate in as many in-game events as you can. Spend 2/3's of your waking hours farming gems. Save those gems. Wait until the More Than Gems event and buy VIP-points. Aim for VIP level 14/15 so that way you can collect 3 gold heads per day.
If you messed up on your cavs and did XY, (and no william, beli, etc) you could easily swap to something like; XY Nevsky HQ Joan or Joan Mehmed (yes it's fine, until HQ ready) VIP 15 before T5 is fine. VIP is the gift that keeps on giving and 50% heal speed is very important for efficiency in the field.

just by login every day it's 1100 GH, Ark is bi week thats 260... karuak is around 200, 3-4 kvk per year is 200, more than gems , 7k gem, and so on , without MGE, most players can max 3-4 commanders per year
Calling commanders like that a mistake is pretty unfair. Their kit is not designed to make the best solo reports, they make all other marches do alot more. They are not mistakes, just happy little accidents.😂

11 farms all city hall 25, just have to be diligent doing farm runs.
