Dont perseverate on the jumps. Work on technique, corner speed, and acclimation to overall speed. The jumps will come when those improve. Technique will unlock the potential for speed. Technique will unlock confidence which will unlock speed in your brain. Unlocking speed in your brain is the ultimate goal. It is your brain that causes your wrist to not turn the throttle all the way open. I do a lot of corner drills. I also do the drag race drill, I intentionally dont hit any jump but try to pin it between jumps. The idea is to take the anxiety of jumps out of the mix and concentrate solely on going faster then you ever have. Adding the jumps in after will be easier. I spend half the day "training" hard on a technique and half focused on having fun. Keep the heels down. literally push them down stretching your achillies and calves. it will cause your legs to grab more and plant the rear of the bike reducing getting kicked off jumps. Doing this catapulted my skill overnight. I had never rode anything until 48 yrs. old. Im now 54 and racing. looking forward to more videos.
Thank you so much for the advice! I’ve really been focusing on maintaining speed through the corners lately and just trying to link the whole track together. I feel I’ve progressed a lot in the past 6months on the tracks! Thank you for your support! Plenty more videos incoming mate don’t you worry!! 🤘🏽🤘🏽
