They finally realized they had to run and always be ready for a pass. They didn’t have much time to practice together before the season. It finally clicked midway through the season.
This grandmother sucked at basketball (soccer was my game for 17 yrs when girls didn’t play),never watched ever and here I am looking for these videos. She is remarkable not just her game but her composure and grace. Women need to build each other up and stop cutting each other down. Some things haven’t changed in 45 year, we can do better
Just a couple of things I've noticed i) if you foul Caitlin she gets more inspired and determind to squish your team ii) Her team mates know to just run towards the hoop as by some means Caitlin will send a basket ball missle to you! iiI) Everytime she goes for the hoop she does this super cute outside leg flip balance thing... watch this vid again it shows it repetitively! She doesn't even realise she's doing it, but it keeps her in balance and on her feet! iv) next up Catlin will start bouncing the ball off the ceiling's girders, hey teamies look up or the ball is gonna bounce off your head!
CC works harder than anyone on her game, and it shows. That is why most of the WNBA doesn't like her. They don't want to put in the work, not to mention the fact that she is a great team player. Her vision on the court is amazing.

Full credit to CC but without countless hours of practice by & with the rest of her TEAM MATES her STAR wouldn't be as bright if said TEAM MATES did not have the finely honed skills to ALWAYS be expecting & LOOKING out for the ball, a lot of sub par players would be getting black eyes & kicking/tripping on the ball because it was ""JUST THERE"" and they never saw it coming......BAM, SLAM & OUT ON THE FLOOR, FACE FIRST. In other words you can't have the highest number of assists without TEAM MATES being ready to handle the rock at all times!
Imagine how much more great her Rookie year would have been if they had those skills at the beginning of the year. Thankfully, they all improved and got used to Caitlin!
I love when Caitlyn Clark plays against the Suns and Carrington tries to guard her, but she always gets burned Caitlyn out players her 10 to one. Then again she does that to everyone that tries to guard her.
Watch her passes at 1/2 speed video. You see her opponents barely react at all. They can't intercept a pass when they can't move fast enough. Its like shooting fish in a barrel.
