They made it harder for lower players to qual for champs so they buy more packs to get a better team 😅😅😅😅 all they care about is money
But you are missing the point, everyone keeps saying that but casuals are still going to get their rewards, if not even better, Rank 5 last year was a good addition for "content" and for hardly any wins.
For just ** 6 WINS ONLY ** You would get a:
+ 2x 1 of 2 84+ Rare Gold Players
+ Rare players pack
+ Jumbo rare players pack
Whereas in the old format, you would need 20/30 games - Gold 1 - to get the same rewards (-1 JRPP) as last years 6/20 wins. You dont even need a good team to win, just good gameplay and fundamentals that I promote for years, now with evolutions also being even better its less P2W in that respect.
Dude last year if you qualify for champs and win 3-4 games you get packs and player picks. Now you get nothing from champs period if you dont make it. Then you go get 15 yes 15 wins in rivals?? How many wins does a low player get in a week? No where near 15. This is nothing but a money grab for lower players its clear. They dont give a shit about making champs competitive. It was fine. The just want low players to not qual and spend money on packs its clear bro

You cant expect players who are not that good to get the best rewards, when really you dont need even a good team, why does it matter what team you have, there is so many people who spend like £1000s every year, and still in division 5, trust me I know this more than anyone.
If anything rewards are actually getting better for casuals and it has been since the above example I mentioned year on years, it wasnt competitive, my friend is a casual and a div 2 player at max, he was getting 20-0 lol. Just dont spend money on packs I dont get it no one is telling you to do it, you dont need a good team to win

Imagine in this day and age we still had 40 games a weekend, was actually crazy we did that
I think it was faster to do 40 then 30 at a high level because of rage quits back then, I remember I used to go out at university, come straight back to my home, play champs and by the next day mid-day I was basically finished. But then again I was a student and had so much time. But I know for my friends who were not that good, they struggled with so many games, the change was defo needed, But they should never go lower than 15 now. Good change all round imho

@@NealGuides Is the average player getting 13 wins in WL? I'd say the average player isn't qualifying for WL and then 9-11 is average of those who do qualify, but they Re still 'good' players.
@@sensaidoom Okay but then are you an average player if your watching FC videos, I wouldn't say you are casual. Did you qualify for futchamps in FIFA 22? I would say because of free wins, and also the MM, I think its fairly easy to obtain rank 5/6 for an average player. Most people have a lack of managing their games, which is basics which I teach and help people improve with. Now its less games, so its even better for concentration. But who cares they are getting better rewards anyway this year, I mean they dont have to play futchampions no?
@@NealGuides Yes, I'd say average players watch FC videos. It is interesting to watch better players play, then think you can emulate it and fail badly (sometimes..).
I didn't play FIFA 22, so didn't qualify. However, didn't always qualify each attempt in FIFA 23 or EA FC and, if I did, I'd use most/all of the 10 games.
I haven't received a single free win in WL in FC 24, and it wasn't too common in FIFA 23. Plenty of people quitting games, though.
The reduction in games is fine and the complete removal of free wins is also fine (makes little difference). My only issue is the 3/5 wins and how that will impact the experience for everyone, with a lot of "good" players finding themselves getting a lot less WL wins this year.
@@sensaidoom I would say you are quite right but I wouldnt consider that Casual, but average player yes I would say but not a "casual". But what I would say is that I know play-offs are the issue, this is not what I agree with I thought you are referring to fut champions. The key is qualifying once, and then I presume you are back in , unless they change it this year, but rank 1 rewards were really not worth going all that way to be honest, that was the big issue and thankfully they corrected it. I agree though it should be 3/6 like I said in the video, going from needing to win 40% to 60% effectively, they made it much harder, albeit you do have more chances.
Sorry Neal , I really gotta disagree with your take on this one , champs is now for the best of the best which is fine , the casual players like myself (div 2/3 player) have been excluded form champs , ok what’s my options Rivals ? Ok how many wins, 15 😅, na I’m good , so you really think the mid players will even be attempting Champs ? No way , I give it 2 months and EA will be lowering the threshold to qualify, mark my words, great changes for the top players, happy for them , the game is already extremely difficult to get into and has a real problem retaining players, i will give it a go for a wile on rivals and Rush but can’t see a long stay, similar to last year.
« Casual players » and « div 2 » doesn’t belong together. You have 18 playoff tryouts for 6 weeks, which means you could try 3 times every week, and at the end of the day, if you were in div 2, you’ll probably have 7 wins if not more.
Even the players who just had 6 wins out of 20 games will have better rewards this year than the previous one
But you can still play champs, who is stopping you, lets say you get into champs and you play it, you will basically auto qualify for the next week anyway. No one has excluded you from champs at the end of the day, you dont need to be a a top player to get into champs, if anything champs itself will be harder, player offs, maybe would remain the same. You have 18 attempts, you can basically average two attempts a week, assuming you dont auto qualify.
I don’t agree, ok let’s say I qualify on my second attempt, the absolute best I can hope for is a 50/50 match against a similar skilled opponent that scraped through , the rest are going to be top quality players, I’m looking at maybe 5 wins tops ,that will definitely tire quickly, don’t forget we already had difficult qualifying in Fifa23 (5wins) how long did that last ? 3/4 weeks? Champs will end up a full on Sweat fest like we have never seen, this will get frustrating for everyone with less and less getting the top rewards as the casuals will be gone from Champs , anyway I hope I am wrong and the creators and pros are right and it will be fun for all.
@@marts5555 But even if you get 5 wins, the rewards will be improved from last year probably since they do it year on year, and then you auto qualify for the week after? So if anything its less game and more rewards albeit more challenging. Isnt that a boost though to improve? Trust me improving is not that hard as you think, its just about following structure and the right changes in your gameplay. I do agree it would be more frustrating, especially if the gameplay is bad, for myself included when the meta rats come out and abuse mechanics!

@NealGuides I played in from Fifa 20 until now. But it feels like this game is only going to be the good players because players like me are just going to struggle a lot.
You're saying thank God for the champs changes but all that's going to happen is the bad players will no longer qualify and then the good players will complain about how sweaty it is. It sounds good in theory but this is always the cycle with pinnacle pvp experiences.

@@jeremyk3670 No I agree. Most everything I play has some pvp element to it and this happens all the time. Do I think people getting 1 win should get the same rewards as someone going flawless? Absolutely no, but you need those players getting the 1 win so the mode doesn't feel like a chore. The good players mostly don't care or realize that point. You want the bad players in the mode even if that means some of them are going to potentially get better rewards than what their skill suggests they should. Otherwise everyone is going to start saying champs isn't worth the sweat. Hopefully its a bit better balanced than what these changes suggest it will be, but I have my doubts tbh.

Im not paying 100 bucks to play pros 12-15 games in champs to get 15 k and spend hours grinding out 15 rivals wins every week. They really blew it this yeAr to make more money. I guarentee they go back to okd system in few months. This will be nothing buy sweats im not paying for that f Ea

If they realease the master league that game will be a blast, gameplay is very fun even against AI.

With the evolution example you used, the person with 83 pace would go to 90, not stay at 83. That's what that table was showing. In last year's game, it would have gone to 93. They're just capping the stats.
Yeah maybe explained that bit wrong, was just trying to say that they cap it this year so you cant improve beyond that. Probably should of worded that a bit better tbh
Been playing FIFA since 2004 so I experienced their whole downfall. This seems to be the first real time that they listened to the community. Lots of QOL improvements and a rework of the reward system + a 5v5 mode… im still very skeptical but so far it looks decent.
3/5 wins for qualifying isnt great especially with how random FIFA is, DDA, scripting etc… I agree that 3/6 wouldve been much better.

For me I am always guaranteed 1 DDA game in champs and this is proven from me I get destroyed not by skill but my ai being silly and it would happen every week and I just let it happen and never get mad because I would expect it

Was starting to get keen to come back and play but getting flashbacks over all i hate about this game.
my prediction for the game is that they will get an even worse score on metacritic the game will be dead within a month they should be ashamed another developer would be better fc 24 was already bad fc 25 will be even worse
No one cares about ratings for ultimate team this isn't a story based game
Imagine being an average player (11 wins last year or so), going into your third Weekend League, and facing people with three untradeable icons and a mega team, while you have an average team of gold players. Not only will they be better at the game than you, but they'll also have a much, much, MUCH better team this year. Let’s face it, EA screwed up again, making it worse for the average players, but this will become more obvious in the mid to long run.
In a few months, the game will be dead. The reason? These changes and, once again, too many cards. Do you really want to make a competitive game? You need to limit it to gold cards, in-forms (IF cards), and some rare icons. STOP. That would limit the pay-to-win aspect and make it competitive because team strength wouldn’t matter as much. It was like that in FIFA 16, where I could win Division 1 with a silver team and still have a great time.
Wanna go down the pay-to-win route, EA? Then go all in! All or nothing! I’d be fine with it, but in that case, make Ultimate Team free-to-play, like eFootball. But DON’T - and I repeat DON’T - in the name of everything sacred, make people pay $100 for a game that will make them regret entering Champs and never want to play again.
Casual players might not mind, but what about the average part of the community? The 70% of it? Will they buy packs out of frustration, trying to keep up with the meta and maintain the rank needed to stay competitive? Disgusting. They’ve found a new way to prey on average players, even more so.
And don’t give me any of that "they need to get better" bull****. Many people don’t have the time, talent, or mindset to get better. They’re already good, but with these new rewards and rankings? And what happens if you get disconnected because EA's servers are terrible? Zero points? EA, really? Still no win for a ragequit at 0-0? Really?
With these changes, EA’s pockets will get heavier, but people will only get more frustrated with the game. Make it free-to-play, EA. Nobody wants to pay to get screwed over by someone who’s better and has access to a much better team. Sell your Career Mode, your Pro Clubs, your whatever, but make FUT free-to-play. You make enough money with microtransactions already.
I can't take this behavior from EA, not in a game I grew up loving. I used to love FIFA. This isn’t FIFA anymore, and they’re making that clear to all of us. I was waiting to hear the gameplay changes before buying it... I’ve heard them, and I’ll pass. Maybe my time with this game has come to an end.
EA, bring back a mode like the old divisions or the World Cup mode. Make your game FUN, not just competitive. Nobody cares about friendlies, just like in real-life football.
Sort yourselves out, EA Sports. We miss the old FIFA. We miss a game made for all of us, not just for feeding the money cow.
And I'm saying this as an elite player with 900 SP. So the only “skill issue” is in the minds of those who can’t see what they’re doing to the community. I’ll pass on this year’s release, but I’ll keep watching and see what happens to the last "good" football game still standing.
But the thing is the linear curve of the power cards are still going to be there, if anything they still can get rewards from other game modes, realistically, you dont even need a good team, its why so manypeople get conned spending £1k+ every year, and still cant even reach division 3. Its a big problem, but you still dont need a good team because of evos, you can basically evolve and create players yourself. You dont need to keep up your team. In regards to your point only the TOP players going to get Rank 1, it wont be every single person, and lets be real most of the time that icon packs is going to give you nothing.
If anything rewards are getting better with the points system, and then the elite players dont need to self-relegate so for casuals divisions will be easier at their level. But if you were a 11 player last year, you will still get your 6 wins and the equivalent rewards, its not like the categorically said they are "done". Its only that the Rank 1 has good rewards the perception is that the lower ranks must be "bad", when you have to look comparatively. I would also want gold cards to last until November/December like previous years, but its just not the case anymore, but evolution and the amount of free cards through evos and other objectives you can obtain have made it equal, and this is coming from someone who dosent spend FP points and never has done in the past, par from my acc for testing when the game comes out I need to test the best players only reason why, i.e. this year need to test roles.

The fact is, the gameplay will still feel terrible if they don’t fix what’s wrong in the code. If you're an old-time player (one of the real FIFA veterans), you know what I mean: sudden changes in responsiveness during gameplay, strange pressing movements, moments when players feel static and unresponsive during a match...
This game is built on older versions, and in my opinion, they don’t even know where to begin fixing these gameplay issues. (I’ve encountered them in offline modes too, like Career Mode, so it’s not even a server issue.)
This is further proven by the fact that they haven't touched Draft Mode - probably because the people who originally developed it don’t work at EA anymore, and they have no clue how to modify that part of the code.
The game is a mess, Neal. We all hoped it wouldn’t turn out like this. We all remember FIFA 15 Ultimate Team and how fun the gameplay was. Do you remember Luca Toni’s headers? We’ve all witnessed the game’s decline.
Will these changes be for the better, or will they be the final nail in the coffin, as they wait for microtransactions in games to be banned (which will happen sooner or later)? We'll live and see. Game is a week away. In the meantime, I wish you all the best with your channel.
P.S. Start a Road to Glory (RTG) series ASAP - I’d definitely watch that!
Only money and the quality of the connection matters. Players spamming glitches will get the best rewards. Skill doesn't matter without spending a fortune on packs.

@@NealGuidesfr it is😂 im a decent player, i started in fifa 20, i sucked all the way up until fifa 23, that was the year i said aight imma get my qualies and get wins in finals. I got 11 wins all year, and in EAFC 24 i really went for it and was in Elite all year. I got 16 wins multiple times and 17 wins once. I was so happy about my improvement in 2 years. I really hope to get rank 2 atleast once this year.
