I've never known what to do with velum sheets untill now thank you for the idea. :). I used wax seals when I was young at the time all I could get was my initials and wicked candle sticks. I've recently gotten back into using wax seals and love the large number of seals now available. I always hated the soot in the seals but you can use rose shears to cut the candles into small pieces to use on your spoon. Also get a furnace to hold the spoon over the candle. Less stress on your arm. Love the envelope ideas. :).
Oh yes that's a good idea. I love wax seals and making them is so meditative and relaxing. I'm glad you liked the idea of the window with vellum. Thank you for being here. Have a great day! ☺️🌼💕
I do enjoy making envelopes. 💌. A great design element. Vellum is one of my favourite papers because it gives a little bit of mystery. Wax seals are a lovely addition
New to your channel. Very beautiful envelopes. They are unique. I love that you used vellum for the windows. Look forward to seeing more of your videos
Hello Chantal… so many details… don’t know where to begin… I suppose the obvious place is… Beautiful Envelopes, Chantal!!! I have not been making cards let alone envelopes for too long now but I LOVE the envelopes and the idea of a coordinating insert whether it be a card, invitation, or a heartfelt letter of encouragement/admiration/appreciation… I have not played at all with the wax seal idea although… I love the idea and finally purchased a box of wax melts in various colors although I do not have any of the tools to impress into it but I have seen some people use rubber stamps (first coating it with VersaMark ink to protect it). Although hard to believe, I have had the WeR eyelet tool and a wide variety of eyelets for a number of years and have not once successfully created an eyelet which I have wanted to put at the top of homemade tags, etc. so… another couple of items to add to my 2025 Artsy bucket list! I am so wanting to be creative in some way everyday this year but it’s improbable but not impossible… I think the biggest help to being able to accomplish such a lofty goal especially on work days is to have some materials prepped in advance which include quick & easy projects like collage pages in a 3x5 Moleskin like I did in 2023. I’m not sure if I mentioned to you wanting to explore watercolor more this year but that’s what I did the first 3 days of this year. I had previously created some 3.25x4.75 cards and painted them with various PaperArtsy Fresco finish paints and plan to stamps images from their various artists (Alison Bomber in particular) and then watercolor the images. I also would really like to do Marta’s Jumbo Card challenge with her books. I’m still working in my first 5x8 journal that will be perfect for her 20 books released in 2024 - one page for each book with a title page listing the books and the last page having either multiple elements or… using one of her rice papers… yep… Thanks for all you do to encourage and inspire. It’s a delight to spend time with you! Take care and have an awesome week!!! 🙂❤🦋
Oh, Sue, I love reading you! You inspire me to create videos because I do understand what you mean when you write to me, and it gives me ideas on what others might also feel or think as crafters. I love reading your insights. I also like watercolor, and I'm trying to figure out a way to talk about painting and / or using other mediums and exploring crafting in general. I want 2025 to be a year where I challenge myself to be better in many areas and be less afraid to try new things. We shall see! Have a wonderful week, and thank you for being here.🤗🌼💕
‘Dorbs! You are sooooo good u cut your paper, I just rip it. It looks a bit aged & worn but it works for me. I appreciate your talent and your time to share with us😘
I will definitely be trying to make one of these tomorrow. The only thing I would have liked to have seen is you putting something inside the envelope to show through the vellum window. Thank you so much for the tutorial. 🩷
Hi! I'm so happy to have inspired you to make one! Towards the end, I did out something to show how it would look, but I just grabbed something I had close by to show the effects. I hope you enjoy making these. Have a wonderful day! 🤗🌼💕
Lovely envelopes. I have used the wick waxes and hate them. The wick goes out, it discolours the wax by dripping black. I always use the candle method now and it never fails.
Hi! No they are not ment for putting as is in the mail. More to put in a journal or to send happy mail and put it inside a real envelope for real mail then. ☺️🌼

Thank you and I agree about vellum. It's see through but not completely and like you said: it leaves just a bit of mystery! Have a wonderful day! ☺️🌼
Bonjour, merci pour cette belle idée !
Ça me fait plaisir Dominique. ☺️🌼

These envelopes are Absolutely Beautiful ❤👌
Thank you so much for sharing!
Thank you! I'm happy you like them. 🤗💕
If you save your mail envelopes with windows, you could trim them and use as a substitute for the vellum or clear material.
Absolutely and I've done that. It's a good idea and I love the sound of that specific material they use on those envelopes ☺️
Gorgeous envelopes, so delicate! Thank you for sharing it with us.🌷❤️
Awe Thank you, Carla! 🤗🌼💕
So pretty! New sub here!
Thank you! I'm so glad you're here 💕
Beautiful, love them!
Thank you! ☺️💕🌼

I love roughed up edges! I often do that as well 😊 Thank you. I'm glad you liked it 🤗💕
Beautiful ❤
Thank you ☺️🤗
I use the electric wax seal warmer. No flame to mess with, Just put the wax pellets in the spoon, set it in the warmer and watch the magic happen.
I’ve never tried an electric warmer. I do like the candle, just not the wax with the wick. I'm sure the electric one is really nice. 👌 Thank you. 🤗🌼

Thank you. And yes, same with me as you saw in the video. I will not buy them again! Thank you for your comment. 🌼 ☺️

Are these supposed to be gift tag envelopes? They are beautiful but I don’t think they can go through the post office metering machines.

@ ok, they are beautiful. Good job.
