I never understood why they called it Call of Duty: WWII. We're not fighting in all theaters and campaigns of World War II; we're only fighting in the Western Front from 1944 to 1945 (according to its Wikipedia page). A better name would've been Call of Duty: Second Front (as the Western Front from 1944 to 1945 is sometimes given that name). It's a better description of the game's settings and events. Plus, I personally think it sounds cooler. But that's not the main reason why I question the game's title. The main reason is that four of the thirteen main Call of Duty games released so far are World War II games. And when comparing the settings and events of World at War with WWII, WWII has much less to offer. The title makes me feel as though that the game has less effort being put into its direction and that it's just trying to reach out for as much money as possible. I might be judging it too early, but I never really was wrong about the outcome of a Call of Duty game. So...
Disobedient Appliance don't use wiki please I've been taking so many history classes in college to let people use wiki to tell you about the war, just look at some of the battles we did against Japan, a great movie for that is hacksaw ridge on the battle of Okinawa but it's all warfare and even if it's 10-12 battles that's what 10-12 maps. Not to mention the possibility of British, English, French, German, and Japanese it would be great to see it. (Main point don't use wiki)

But I didn't use Wikipedia for searching information on World War II. I used it to it to search up the setting for Call of Duty: WWII (which is just set in the Western Front from 1944 to 1945). I hardly ever use Wikipedia for searching information on wars. Also, I don't get what you are pointing out with the whole Hacksaw Ridge thing. I actually don't know what you are getting to with the rest of your comment. Can you clear that up for me?

I dropped COD for battlefield once ghosts came out. Hell i liked ghosts its just that COD is too easy and I just wanted a more objective based game. And speaking of Battlefield 1 it does have a lower skill ceiling than previous titles.

In battlefield you don't have quick scoping so sniping requires skills. And for people camping on the rooftops you can blow the whole building in order to kill them.

I'm with you on that Solo Play man. I aint got the time to wait for my team mates, or spend 30 minutes running across a Battlefield 1 map just to get sniped by someone. I got 10 minutes to jump into a game and wreck some people...or just suck for 10 minutes.
Highly doubt that Destiny 2 is going to compete with CoD WWII. The first Destiny left a bad taste in many gamers mouths, myself included. So much hype when announced, so much disappointment at launch. WWII will pretty much sell the most this year.
The issue in my mind is: What if CoD WWII isn't any good? It could easily happen. Gaming franchises don't really get killed by other gaming franchises. They usually kill themselves.

Just because we're going back to boots on the ground, doesn't mean it will be good. Bad design can undermine a good idea. Bad maps, unbalanced weapons, and bad gameplay tuning could fuck it all up.
Out of destiny and cod, cod will sell more but I personally think Red Dead Redemption will be the top selling game this year.

Speaking as someone who's played Battlefield for 15 years, I have no idea what that one guy meant about "BF1 didn't feel like a Battlefield game". The differences between 2142 -> Bad Company, and Bad Company 2 -> BF3 were much bigger than any changes from BF4 to BF1.
