I like that big fella! Measured analysis of the game. Hope both teams stay up. Leeds day in the sun today, been few and far between for a couple of seasons now. Still, season ticket renewed and hoping we can kick on. 2W 1D 1L so far in the PL for the new manager.
I've been supporting Wolves now since 2004 but after watching Leeds dispatch wolves today I have to unfortunately move on. I'm now a Leeds United supporter. Marching on together
I’ve been wolves fan since 99 and a practicing shape shifter, but after that Rodrigo chip-in I have to pledge my allegiance to Leeds United. Morphing on Together.
your not a fan then are you. you just posting a silly comment as ou change how long you support wolves every time you post. for reference if you support a team you stay with them win lose or draw that support, you be changing to another team next week to whoever Leeds lose too
Honeymoon period is over for JLO now and we are showing worrying form. I absolutely hate to say this but if we lose against Forrest (and I think we will with MGW scoring for them) then my gut feeling is telling me that we will go down. The rot that Lage implemented is far from being removed. We've now got 10 cup finals to play in order to survive.
Two red cards shocking these defenders .and midfielders need to act ..we can't blame the manager .the team need to perform and this var is spoiling the football no fun anymore
Gomez was culpable for the first goal as he had retreated into the same line as the center backs! as a defensive midfielder he should be in front of them to prevent the cut back. that what left the space for the cut back. However, its a minor mistake. He was steady, but un-creative. I feel we had too many midfielders trying to play the holding role on Saturday. If we're plying Gomez we need to release mario or ruben to be further forward and let Gomez play as a holder as he is clearly about the tackling rather than the passing.
Fans now realise manager not as good as what first thought Too Many changes every game And if look back in my messages and comments on here and liarbook I DID SAY UNAI EMERY GET HIM IN
I do believe Wolves have better players than Leeds and today they were unable to bring it into force. Firstly away teams know to attack us right from the start. Why haven't we realized this? Once again Wolves gifted a goal and so began the up hill task. Although Wolves pushed and pressured it amounted to little. Another debatable decision didn't go Wolves way and the attack was powder puff. Secondly is it down to tactics. Why are Wolves so slow to take the initiative and go for these teams right from the off? Teams that come to Molineux attack our players in possession force errors and preventing creativity. Wolves allowed Leeds to create at critical times and didn't punish them when they could. The way Wolves play is not giving them the best chance to fight what is now a crisis as it looks to me another win is remote unless these very capable players don't realize they are better than Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace, Everton. and more than capable of matching Leicester, Brighton, Chelsea, Brentford and Aston Villa and who knows Wolves may pinch points off Manchester charmed United and Arsenal. Come on Wolves show some guts, courage and self belief. Wolves you can do it. It is in your hands. Thirty points available. Thirteen should do it but fifteen or twenty would be better.
As you said, teams know they always have a chance if they can put the pressure on Wolves from the outset. Wolves are an attack-centred side, and Leeds knew they had to equal that in the early phase of the match to get into the game. If Leeds can go a goal up they know Wolves will just keep pushing and attacking, leaving space behind. Leeds can then happily concede the possession and just go on the counter. This is what appeared to happen. Wolves current style is similar to Bielsaball and Jesseball. However, Leeds have finally realised with Javia Gracia that we don't have the quality of players to successfully employ that system. Hopefully, your boss will come to same conclusion now you're in the fight with the other eight teams scrapping to avoid relegation. If Wolves can play the calm and patient game instead of heaping waves of attack on attack, I think you'll stay up no problem. Luck hasn't exactly been on your side lately, either. So, if all these things balance out I'm sure you'll be safe. You have a decent team and manager, and cracking supporters to be that 12th man, too. Good luck!
Jonny!?!? Gives up two goals, loses the ball countless times, and rightfully gets sent off with a red card. Man o' the match, huh? And Gomes was at fault for the 2nd goal. The REAL man of the match, of course, was Adama. If only we had a striker, he'd be the league's assist leader, despite almost never getting to start a game.
World class manager but the premiere league is a different animal its not the Spanish or Portuguese league now millions spent and still look like a bottom end prem team /championship team who haven't got a clue how to put the ball in the net neto 6 yards out fluffs is shot semedo running in onto a perfect ball and powder puffs his shot we really are pathetic up there as one of the worst front lines from any prem league teams in a long time 1 goal from a centre forward so far shows how bad we really are total clear out needed
Lopetegui firmed up the defence when he first showed up. What worries me now is that we are conceding lots again, a lack of structure and discipline today cost us... he’s a world class gaffer but there is no excuse for today’s result
