Chicken noodle soup was my childhood and I'm asian. Glad to see diversity from this song. Three languages (Korean, spanish and English) plus the mix of different cultures in one song is just amazing. They paid DJ Webstar (original artist of chicken noodle soup) about 2.7M US dollars for royalties aka for the copyright of the song and the crazy part is they made a music video for this remake, spend tons of money and yet they released this song for FREE!!! Actually I think you have a point, I saw a Korean TV show that says fashion and Kpop idols are tightly linked in with the trends. Additionally on another show where the stylists were fitting out there actors, they would go shopping for stores and some clothes are actually reserve for the various people depending what demographic they want to represent those brands, it was quite suprising to watch...

Just to clear things, this isn’t considered a kpop song because it has three different languages in it Korean, English and Spanish plus it’s not 100% J-Hope’s song since it’s a remake cover.....We fans have been waiting for this since he talked about it in his previous vlive chats. I’m sure you already know about the song, it’s a remake of 2006 track by artists Webster & Young B (Bianca). He said it was the reason he found his passion for dancing and how he joined BTS, he also mentioned this was supposed to be part of his first mixtape “Hope World” and that it was his idea to do a remake cover of the song which gave him inspiration to pursue dance & music. It’s super impressive how they mixed in three different languages explaining the back story of the track within the song and can’t we please talk about the amount extreme diversity in the MV please?

oh my god no no no. i love bts with my whole heart but that doesn't mean we should give them a pass when they fuck up. which j-hope did. the fact that it's gel twists doesn't really negate the wrongness of it. the intent was still the same. according to the video being "hood" and "street" and "hip-hop" = emulating dreads and equating black culture to the "thug" aesthetic. the reality is that that's a hairstyle that a black kid can get expelled from school for just having so using it nonchalantly to complete a look? yeah that's not it

I think u should react to Airplane instead of Daydream. Both are by Jhope & are from his mixtape Hope World released in 2018. Airplane is more rappy (like rap with a strong beat) whereas Daydream is more of a Bruno Mars type song.

Chicken noodle soup was my childhood and I'm asian. Glad to see diversity from this song. Three languages (Korean, spanish and English) plus the mix of different cultures in one song is just amazing. They paid DJ Webstar (original artist of chicken noodle soup) about 2.7M US dollars for royalties aka for the copyright of the song and the crazy part is they made a music video for this remake, spend tons of money and yet they released this song for FREE!!! It's up on BTS' SoundCloud account. Ps. Jhope is a member of the Korean band, BTS.

Additionally on another show where the stylists were fitting out there actors, they would go shopping for stores and some clothes are actually reserve for the various people depending what demographic they want to represent those brands, it was quite suprising to watch...

Just to clear things, this isn’t considered a kpop song because it has three different languages in it Korean, English and Spanish plus it’s not 100% J-Hope’s song since it’s a remake cover.....We fans have been waiting for this since he talked about it in his previous vlive chats. I’m sure you already know about the song, it’s a remake of 2006 track by artists Webster & Young B (Bianca). He said it was the reason he found his passion for dancing and how he joined BTS, he also mentioned this was supposed to be part of his first mixtape “Hope World” and that it was his idea to do a remake cover of the song which gave him inspiration to pursue dance & music. It’s super impressive how they mixed in three different languages explaining the back story of the track within the song and can’t we please talk about the amount extreme diversity in the MV please?

My biases are Suga, V and JungKook; everything they used in their much older music videos was REAL (No CGI) just allot of editing & a few fake probs until they came out with their “IDOL” MV and so on where they’re able to use more sets and green screen.
