Love the g37.I have the 2011 g37x,love the drive but what I don't like is the bright white lace color leather interior that get dirty quickly and the chrome an shiny mahogoney dashboards that's a magnet to finger prints.every thing else is nice,7speed,engine noise,speakers,analog clock and the touchscreen gps.
I ralize its an old video..... but .... putting it into sport mode turns on DS, which is an automatic mode with higher revs and quicker response. By shifting up or down, you enter manual mode. So the complaint is irrelevant..... only because the guy doesnt know what hes talking about...
I had an opportunity to rent this car. "She" sure is fast, I suggest changing lanes BEFORE stomping the pedal. If you are at the point where the power and gearing are set to explode, you just might hit the slow car in front of you!
I have a g37x wanna race we can see who knows their stuff?? there is many things you can do to the g37 engine its not tapped out at all you just need the money for it.some things are listed under the nissan 370z since its the same engine so do some research
@cliquehop i personally dislke the interior of the legacy since my bud drives one .. but if he vinyl wrapped the aluminum parts it would be pretty dam nice
I'm a Subaru guy and I would likely NEVER buy the current generation Legacy. It's ugly, and C&D tore it to shreds when they tested the turbo version a few years back. It also has the electronic parking brake, which I will not buy. I save myself a few times each year by being able to steer/slow/spin my Impreza WITH the hand-operated parking brake. I also share iStyleZ415's opinion that Subaru is not in the same class as Infiniti.
Personally, I would go with the Legacy turbo by Subaru. It's a superior AWD system, their navigation package is very easy to use, It's actually faster than the G37 through the corners, and costs about 10k less fully loaded. Past a certain point with big-ticket japanese luxury cars, you are only paying for the brand, not the quality or value. Plus Subaru was rated at the top of its' class for value, safety, performance, and reliabilty. Remember, if it's an Infiniti, it's still just a Nissan.
@mojojojo911 Mojo, I absolutely agree. BMW has saturated this US market. If you want something special to drive, it isn't going to be a BMW. They're everywhere. I test drove a 2011 535i, and I was woefully disappointed. BMW has outfitted this new car with electric assist steering, which has taken any feel of the road right out of the car. It's dead in a straight line, and no longer the Ultimate Driving Machine.

I love the G35 and G37 models because it is basically a modern Skyline. It has a Skyline motor, and is even called a Skyline in Japan.

And even if it was cheaper, id still pick the G37. There are just way too many 335s around.
Actually, the backup camera with the color screen comes as standard in the G37 journey

you can get a journey awd fully loaded gor around 41 42k right now since the 2011 models are coming in
the video from 3:25 is not Inteligent AWD, its called a four active steering wheel and only offered in the G37 sport

but there is package to make it AWD, its 2500 extra to get AWD

In two years, when I'm ready for a new car, I think I can grab a loaded G37x coupe for $25k out the door. Probably $20k for the sedan.
