The one thing that’s making me comeback to watching your videos is not the tech. It’s your positive glow. I really love your passion for tech and all the gadgets you’ve been testing. Never stop doing this.
And, I use a Zhiyun Smooth 4 for live streamed interviews during endurance races here in Sweden. The gimbal, the brand doesn’t matter, makes everything so much better. The new Osmo Mobile is a game changer, with the new magnet mounting system.

@@bryansperspective I have the OM4. The magnet is super sturdy. In fact, my concern is that it's too sturdy. You really have to give it yank to get your phone off the magnet. I'm concern will that affect the gimbal motors over time..... Other than that, your phone is really secured on there.

If you're not a "Early Adopter" type of consumer, for any technology that's worth it, wait until the 3rd/4th iteration or beyond.
That's when you know that the tech is here to stay and gives you basically everything you want, more or less.
Look at this Gimbal, it's the 4th major iteration, and fixes most of what people complained about older Gimbals and gives you the best bang for your buck so far.
You can say the same about the iPhone, it wasn't until iPhone 3/4 that iPhone truly took off.
The same with MS Surface Pro, it wasn't until the 3rd/4th iteration did it start getting good.
You can apply this rule to most any piece of tech and it'll work.

I LIKE IT!! I have version 3 and it's been a great tool, but it looks like version 4 is a lot better overall. Do you happen to know if the mag-clip will fit on an Otter Box case? If nothing else, I could always put the portable magnet on the OB case and that will solve the compatibility issue. The OB case also has a belt clip cover with the release in the middle so that's another reason why the mag-clip probably won't work with that cover. Is the follow-me feature part of the phone's app or is that a version 4 only feature?
One of the advantages that comes with this is that with the magnetic detachment, it means that if you ever do manage to drop your phone with the gimbal, the gimbal will have a lower chance of being damaged as the phone can just detach , leaving less forces
I haven’t watched a iJustine video in about a year and it makes me so happy that she is still going strong, posting a lot, doing what she has always done and loved. It’s just great.

I love this thing but I wish they would have waited a little with releasing it to support magsafe for the iPhone 12
Nature walks so yes we do use the osmo. Once it can live stream to obs and the like with auto-tracking on the software will be on a whole new level. Then if you can rotoscope yourself out of the background it will be the best at online meetings for every business owner.
i think if they want to add a 4th camera to the "iphone 12", it should be a macro lens.

That magnet is such a handy feature. I have the first gen Mobile, and I never use it because it’s so cumbersome to put the phone in the bracket and take it back out.

I really like iJustine don't get me wrong. I always wait for her new videos but the thing is that they've become indifferent to me. Why? Because she only reviews premium products that most of us can't afford. She should take a look to some less premium products. I also miss the vlogs. I would love to see some occasionally...
Companies pay her to review this stuff, plus she even keeps some of these things for free. So of course she will review that stuff. Less expensive stuff won't bring in any sponsorships because companies that create inexpensive items don't have the money to pay a UA-camr with millions of followers.

Yeah, I'm fine with the 3 which is about the same. 3M VHB tape is extremely strong though and used in automotive, gopro etc.
It does have the stick-on magnet if you think you'll lose the clamp-on one.

I have the DJI omso mobile 3 and its perfect. its improved my yt vids by SOO much
I’d prefer to have a case with the magnetic mount built in already perfectly positioned for the specific phone model and flush so it doesn’t protrude. Definitely interesting.
that would be cool, I think that mount is made specially for the glass back phones to work best, but I bet they'll make something for cases?!

@@iJustine I have a magnetic mount/wireless charger in my car (attaches to a vent), and just stick the metal plate that goes on the phone on the inside of the phone case instead of on the phone itself. Works fine, so I assume the stick-on plate for this gimbal would work the same way with cases.

Maybe you can attach the extra magnet to a slim phone case instead so you dont have to attach it directly to your phone, with that you can still use other phone case accessorries and have less hassle by putting sticky tape on your phone
