Heart Ereki- love the gogo side shimmy shake retro James Bond dance moves and the mix between yearning plaintive vocals feeling pain and the projection of assertive point blank anger with the pistol finger. It reminds me a lot of Wanted which is my favorite Pink Lady song and has a lot of the same qualities and style of lyrics though they are both really unique. Love the darker and deeper vocal pitch and harmonies in this one. 2. Sayonara Crawl - love the soaring vocal melody which is an unusually dreamy mix of melancholy and joy mixed with the woo 3. For a fan compiled list factoring in just sales and UA-cam views the list is pretty gosh-darn accurate. I feel like considerations should've been made for songs that more or less made the group known though. For example there isn't an AKB48 fan (and even most non fans who only know them by their name and brand) that does not know the songs Aitakatta and Sakura no Hanabiratachi. Then you have early famous hits on UA-cam from before it was bought out by Google (when people would just illegally upload videos of stuff). Back then many people uploaded the music videos for the songs Skirt Hirari, Seifuku ga Jama wo Suru, Keibetsu Shiteita Aijou, and Yuuhi wo Miteiru Ka as well as both versions of the music videos for Sakura no Hanabiratachi (the Indies one with just footage of original Team A at the theater and the 2008 Major Label version that was more story driven and features members of Original Team K and Original Team B). These accumulated hundreds of thousands of views and waves of feedback from non Japanese audiences. Many of those people maintained an interest in the group and full on joined the fanbase in late 2008 when Oogoe Diamond released or in the following two years as the group's successes continued to mount with the positive feedback of events such as the first and second Senbatsu elections and the first Janken tournament.

In the first 4 years after its release, Heavy Rotation was #1 in 2011 request hour, #1 again in 2012, #4 in 2013, and #39 in 2014. By comparison 365 Nichi, in the first 4 years after release, was #8 in 2016 request hour, #27 in 2017, #83 in 2018, and did not rank in the top 100 in 2019. It did not have nearly the same staying power as Heavy Rotation. I did not go beyond 4 years for the comparison, since there have been only 4 request hour votes since the release of 365, but I would note that Heavy Rotation continued to rank in the fifth year following, and that Heavy Rotation was used as an encore for 2 out of the 4 request hour concerts in 2019, whereas 365 did not appear at all. When Heavy Rotation started to play during some down time in Produce 48 (not as part of a planned event), everyone -- both Japanese and Korean -- starting to spontaneously do the choreography for it, and to sing along, -- everyone knew it. The judges looked around in amazement. I can't imagine the same would happen for 365 Nichi, certainly not with respect to the Koreans. Also, apart from popularity, Heavy Rotation is just about as iconic for AKB48 as Aitakatta, or Sakura no Hanabiratachi. 365, for all of its popularity at the time of its release, has not come close to achieving that kind of iconic status.
