  • Apologies for the horrible sound.
After visiting Boot Düsseldorf where Gatz had a beautiful stand, and watching the “Kababoes” UA-cam channel, it was time to take one of my canoes out to paddle. Biesbosch February 2019.

I have the same boat. Very nice sensations to paddling.

I want this model, too. Is it good?

It is, runs fairly strait, has enough speed and stability. Only downside is knee angle, I made a higher seat to counteract that (+/- 6cm added height)

"I don't feel my legs anymore." I was watching this and thinking about how you do pretty well in the kneeling configuration....then you said that. Can you sit in this model or do you have to kneel? I would definitely have a problem with circulation unless I could adjust my position some. That canoe does look nice and fast though.

It is a good looking canoe, and I had lots of paddling enjoyment with it. When I was younger I mastered white water 2 with it.
But kneeling became too uncomfortable, and I’m better of now sitting in the red canoe that is of the same brand.
Kneeling is A LOT more stable though, the only time I tipped over in the green canoe is very drunk in the ditch behind my house 😄
      Thanks for watching Roy.

@@BCBoatsAndCanoes When I was younger kneeling wouldn't have been a problem but the knees aren't what they use to be I reckon. It's definitely more stable and I still kneel occasionally if needed.
