I studied at Toyama uni. Watching this makes me feel nostalgic. Thank you. From only watching your video, I made up my mind and decided I'll make a weekend trip to Toyama next week! My friend has a guesthouse. On the other side of the road from Starbucks and the lake the is a building where you can access the roof. It has a stunning aerial Kansui kouen view!
Konichiwa, Shen Sui, Thank you for watching. It means so much to me. I do have friends who are also studying at Toyama University. Ganbatte with your studies. Wow, it sounds fun. Enjoy your weekend with your friends 😊😊😊 Kansui Koen has an amazing view. And the summer festival there is so beautiful I really wanted to see the summer festival fireworks but it was cancelled because of covid. Maybe next year. Hoping 🙏🏻
Oh my goooosh I’m from Toyama, currently live in Denmark. I’ve been missing my city lately and found this video! This is amazing! Thank you so so much for creating❤️
Such a blessing to see Kansui Koen and other parts of Toyama shi! I used to live there. I love the city so very much. Thank you for sharing with us! I wish I was there with you.
This September I'm going to Japan for my exchange program at Toyama Uni. After watching this video, I hope that this city will be suitable for an introvert but like to be close to nature like me
@@royzt1006 Sorry for my late reply! I have been living here for 8 months, and I basically like the life here. I managed my daily life without effort because of MEXT scholarship (117,000Y/month). If you like calm lifestyle, maybe it's can be considered as a choice, but on the contrary, the traffic is a bit inconvenient. For example, there is a bus every 30 minutes (every 1 hour if weekend), or if you like traveling, it's quite expensive (departing from Toyama will be more expensive than departing from major cities) P/s: I'm living in Toyama city.
@@thembugs I’m going to welcome you in advance. Welcome to Toyama! 😊 There are a lot of mountains here. The city is literally surrounded by mountains. And locals here believe that these mountains protecting them from typhoons, earthquakes, etc. And it’s kind of true because I rarely experienced earthquakes here in Toyama.
I wasnt sure if i want to stop by Toyama on my trip to Takayama, but after watch your video, i decided to stop at this cute little town. You looks so sweet. well done on the video and thank you for sharing.
Konichiwa 🖐🏻 Thank you for watching my video. Usually in Toyama sakura blooms around first or second week of April. It blooms late compared to Tokyo and Osaka. Hmm.. if you are going on April 24 baka konti nlang yung sakura, kasi once it blooms after 1 week nagfafall out na yung mga flowers. Pero may mga late sakura namn. Kaya lang konti lang sila. Meron Sakura Forecast ang Japan you can check there kung kelan magblobloom ang mga sakura each prefecture. ❤️
Konichiwa @wenbing chen, Wow, Congratulations 😊 Yeah, this pandemic really affects everyone, but I’ve heard that Japan is now gradually easing the covid restrictions. Hoping they will soon open their border to foreigners who are going to study, work here.
Would really like to visit Japan some day but not interested in the tourist spots more the out lying areas more rural life in Japan. Like your presentation of the video, thank you for posting.
I think cherry blossom in Kyoto will bloom a little bit early than in Toyama. You can check the sakura forecast, usually they will have this at the end of the year or around January next year.
