Welp, now my favorite album of 2024 is tied between Technetium Vol. 2 & IDRCP. They're both super high quality & interesting to my ears. (Edit: Listened to Rose-Tinted Glasses again, & its still my favorite mashup album of all time. Edited to reflect my current opinion.) Bear5's album reminded me of a combo of SpeedrunnerInTraining's "capeesh" experimental style & Piss Spears/$44,000. (or just the "Pisscore" era as a whole) This is a complement, btw. I unironically like a lot of unconventional music, lmao. That being said, I definitely understand if people can't really vibe with it.
TC, Exy, and Libra are all in my tops, but the number 1 album for me is Everything is Wonderful by Shan. It literally replaced some songs in my head, I can't listen to the originals anymore.
