Sharon, Most paper crafters I watch use emery boards, sanding blocks or plain old sandpaper in a downwards movement from the front of the piece to remove the excess paper.
I tried a burnt edge the other day and couldn't get mine to work either. i think you are right. The heavier weight paper doesn't work well. However, I love the cat!!! And the step by step videos are great!
Thankyou for your " what not to do " video 😂 turned out so well. I've done the burnt edge with thinner paper and it turned out pretty good although you have to be quick to put it out because boy does it ignite quick lol. Also it could of been due the the modge podge you used as it would of sealed the paper with it oozing out xxxx
@@littlebritco1337 thank you! Can’t wait to see what you do with the other 2! Love vintage Halloween and I love how much better the kitty looked after the mod podge! Love the tinsel addition too!
One more comment from the peanut gallery... Just sand those edges down. I don't like seeing you struggle. LOL. I really like the cat. I am thinking you should get at least $15.00 for him.
very nice! love it!
Looks great!
Great job!!!! I like him!!! If it was me I was take no less than 10.00 for him!!!

I couldn’t find mine😂🤣
Sharon, you can also put excess mod podge back in the jar. I over pour all the time, and so I just put it back in the jar.

He looks amazing 😊
And use parchment paper when you iron it, not wax paper.♥♥♥
Hi Sharon. What a handsome lad!! Maybe I would price him at $19.50-$20.00. Cheers.
So cute! Been wondering what to do with mine and I really like yours!! Where did the paper come from? It’s absolutely perfect!
Hi! The paper is from Hobby Lobby. Single sheets. They don’t do Halloween, but this is part of their Fall line.

Hi Kada! The Cat is from Dollar Tree. It’s one of their yard stakes.
Use a sanding block to clean edge.
Burning works best with napkins.
I wonder if the modge podge got on paper, and that's why fire didn't work. Idk

I couldn’t find my sanding block😂🤣
if you have a small piece of wood on the parts of the cat that don't touch and make it all even. Even if it’s cut up popsicle sticks.
Great idea! Thanks!❤️
Where did you get the striped paper?
Hobby Lobby😁
