Jeremy Green I am a Pianist for 25+ years (since I was just 6 years old / Classically trained), qualified to lead an entire ORCHESTRA, So you know how professionally well focused and hard to distract I am .... Yes the piano is my all, when I play I don't feel like we're separated... BUT THE VIOLA IS THE ONLY INSTRUMENT THAT TOUCH ME DEEPLY...EMOTIONALLY IN A WAY THAT I BARELY HOLD MY TEARS (which is a sign of weakness not appropriate for my position)... WHY!? I have no idea .... I really really regret not studying the VIOLA - Academically - .... Now at 32 I realized I need that kind of Inner peace, being the only audience to your own music, playing for yourself is something beyond words 🎹🌞
I really wish you all the best, KEEP IT UP YOUR MUSIC TRULY CAUGHT ME OFF GUARD. I know few people can actually recognize the difference between the sound of the Violin and The MAJESTIC VIOLA .

Loved the chorus part where the violin really flows! I didn't like the parts where the violin makes short/sharp notes, like in the beginning (for a lack of a better description, since I don't know the music lingo for it), unless they came in fast sequence after one another. All in all: Great job!

The size will give it away for those of us who can't immediately identify by ear or who can't identify by ear at all. My girlfriend is a violin player who recently began teaching herself viola, and she tells me that playing her violin now feels like play with a kids toy because of the size difference.
p.s. I would be in your same boat if not for the fact my girlfriend plays instruments and I've seen both (and being taught the violin by my wonderful girlfriend)
