when I was first getting into Vanguard I used to wonder why Tohya got a starter deck despite being a episode one character until I watched this episode and understood. he may not have gotten screen time in most episodes but he for sure is the antagonist of season 1 and a very likeable one too.
Glad the fixed the ending mistake that the sub made (for those who don’t watch the sub the put a vanguard zero ad right between tohya’s last line and the credits and it ruined the mood)

I get wanting to focus on your studies I do but that doesn't mean you have to outright quit what you enjoy doing I don't like this mindset "this is childish" or "its only a game" hey would you disrespect something you love like that now I get wanting to quit because you lose interest or it isn't fun anymore I get that hell it's why I quit yugioh for a while but now I'm ready to get back into it and it won't be easy since I have a full time job now but if I love something I'll make time for it why does everyone think growing up means throwing away everything they love that client be further from the truth
