I’ve always loved Reggae music since I was a child, finally got to visit Jamaica, sadly only on a cruise, but the people are lovely, and it’s even more beautiful in person.
I'm a Jamaican! It has it's ups and downs but I love my country! We learn about a bunch of things in school and we have strict parents 🤣

You probably should have touched on the political violence of the 70s but this is a solid summary
So literally not a single word on the Scottish slaves/indentured servants sent there, nothing about how 70% + surnames are Scottish to this day, nothing about the St Andrew (the reason for the similarity to the Scotland flag). Nothing about how the Jamaican flag colours are one of the most unique flag colours in the world... I know its supposed to be "quick" but what a "whitewash".

Let me clear up some things. The Taino and Arawak were 2 tribes on Jamaica that were close allies and had similar cultures and lived in peace on the island.
