That's coming along nicely gives us some hope for OSC imagers I think the longest I've done is 7 hours so seems like I need to up my game somewhat. I agree with James love the framing look forward to seeing the final result.
There is much hope. I’ve proved that to myself a few times now. Pixinsight just can help do amazing things :)
There is a registry entry you can change to prevent windows updates. I had that happen too and the change fixed the problem. You can just manually apply the updates. You are inspiring me to get a RedCat for the wide-fields. Thinking of the 71. I have a Planewave L500 so I can mount on top of existing scope (RASA36)
I need to find it. I usually pause updates but that fails sometimes I think.
I see where there is new Redcat61 with a new focus design
@@craiglowery4427 yeah. Has that new internal design. Seems to be a winner. I never had an issue with the helical and these 3D printed solutions until recently. It could have been my doing as I’ve had it apart rearranged things like cables and adding the rotator and stuff. At least it works now.
That is coming along nicely. I'd say OSC with a ~50mm objective on the squid is ambitious.. but you're proving it can be done. Only thing I'd recommend is MOAR time :)

That's an amazing image Chad. Great job. I'm getting more comfortable with PixInsight. How do you combine each new image to the previous days? I guess you just restack the project
It’s rather easy to do. I can always do a quick video but visible dark and Adam block both have videos on their channels on how to do it. You dump everything in folders and then use the name of the folder as a keyword in the wbpp.
So what happened to your C6 Hyperstar? What happened to your Skywatcher 100ED?
Just sold stuff and downsized and found something that was a better platform to move around and upgrade to full automation!
