Bravo. Mais décidément, les voyelles françaises "é" et "eû" sur les aigus, c'est vraiment difficile pour tout le monde. Je trouve plus facile la version Italienne vocalement.
Nicolay Ghiaurov semmai, ma Ghiaurov era di un altra categoria rispetto a D'arcangelo, quello era un basso al livello dei Siepi Neri Mardones Pinza Hines Petrov e via discorrendo.

Pour le moment, je n'ai pas entendu une version en français qui me comble alors qu'il y en a en italien (aussi ne connaissant pas par coeur le texte en français comme je connais sa version italienne, donc peux pas juger à moins d'apprendre ce texte ou de l'avoir sous les yeux). FIne singing but terrible staging! Wandering around dilutes the focus of the text and Philippe's anguish. And what's with Eboli? And the dog?? It's supposed to be day-break (l'aurore argente ces vitreaux) after a sleepless night!
That's nothing compare to the begining where they talk with eyes like in the mute movie with eboli and suggest that she does them both , witch is ridiculuos

Es curioso que teóricamente esta aria ha sido planeada y diseñada por alguien como Verdi en francés... Sin embargo fonéticamente suena horrible incluso se rompe el legato, en cambio en italiano queda perfecta. No lo sé pareciera que Verdi diseño esta ópera para cantarse en italiano y la estreno en France pues porque era un trabajo para teatro imperial de París.
C'est vrai que le "Elle (ne m'aime pas)" sur le Mi aigu n'est pas du tout aisé, ni les Ré sur "voûtes". Mais l'ensemble passe mieux avec un francophone comme Van Dam qui sait dessiner les mots plus justement. J'aime beaucoup D'Arcangelo, même si ici il semble un peu en dessous de ses prestations habituelles.
Esato, non e un basso ma un baritono basso secondo me. Bisognerrebbe sentirlo cantare in italiano.. ma lo sapette che Verdi a voluto che sia cantata in francese , in fate l'italiano e une traduzzione. Pero io son francese e preferisco che sia cantata in italiano. Saluti.
Mi dispiace perché in generale D'Arcangelo mi piace molto, ma qua è tutto basso di posizione, con suoni sferraglianti e calanti, sento un'emissione faticosa... repertorio troppo pesante per la sua voce forse
