if i remember right, those little dots help the parent birds find the babies mouths to feed, and also helps with parasitic chicks like cuckoos and cowbirds because the parasite baby doesnt have the same markings around the beak as the actual babies so the parents wont feed it
@@AniqueTheRobot i know some cuckoos push all other chicks out to remove competition. have they studied whether the parents will feed a parasitic chick if there are no other original chicks around for comparison, or is the genetic inclination towards looking for those bright spots so strong they will starve the only chick in the nest? 🤔

My one yr old daughter and I loved this 😊 beautiful little bird!
I believe you are the incarnation of St. Francis of Assisi. Your videos touch me in the heart. Thank you.
Oh dear God how precious. The bird, and you sir. God bless you and your family.
You are really a god-gifted person..the way you take care of these little creatures just like a father is amazing...I wish I could meet you just once.
You have the BEST LIFE EVER! And this beautiful birb is so beautiful! Those gems are amazing! I’ve never seen or heard of this type of finch. At least here in Alabama. But I love the bond you have with every single animal. It’s the best. Lots of love and wishes to you!
Thank you for all of the Amazing Videos ❤️🔥❤️🔥Love seeing all of the different animals ❤❤
I recently saw that kind of beak in a UA-cam "Reel" that was full of misinformation and wrong breeds of birds. So annoying! It's nice to have your video showing us what those amazing opalescent beads are really for and like. What a fascinating little finch!
How vulnerable some newborns are! They seem impossibly vulnerable.
Man, even when there's really no drama happening in the video, your vids always have the tendency to make me tear up a little bit. The beauty of seeing a baby bird start it's life just brings tears to my eyes I guess lol.
Reminds me of the baby bird my mom and I took care of for awhile. Very cute!
your videos are magical. Each and every one. Always look forward to seeing them. Thank you for what you do!!
if i remember right, those little dots help the parent birds find the babies mouths to feed, and also helps with parasitic chicks like cuckoos and cowbirds because the parasite baby doesnt have the same markings around the beak as the actual babies so the parents wont feed it
Exactly that! 😊
@@AniqueTheRobot nice!i knew for sure the feeding thing, but i was pretty sure i remembered learning about the parasitic chick thing somewhere as well
@@ashleyjohnson9651 yeah, stops the parents from feeding the imposters since they don't "look right".
