These Black Metal 8-bits are cool cause they show just how brilliant the music is, without the harshness of the vocals, drums and guitar tone that people otherwise wouldn’t be used to.
If people could truly listen to the masterpieces of composition some black metal musics are... I truly pity those who will never listen to great music.
Enthrone was actually my second Black Metal album when it came out. Been a long time metalhead. Yet I never stopped hating all the screaming and shouting that was going on in all of heavy metal.
After listening to this I have been inspired to make a dimmu borgir game. I can imagine it now, a pixelated man riding a horse up to look at an 8 bit camelot just like the cover of "for all tid" and then a level inside the castle as you search for band members. and the final boss can be dani filth...
what you do is: download TuxGuitar & GXSCC. Install them. Then you go to ultimate guitar.com, search a song, then you go to the bottom of that page and there's a button that says download tab. You download the tab and open in it TuxGuitar. Once you open it, export the song to midi and then you open that midi file in GXSCC. Then you authorize it and save it on your computer. & there you go! you have an 8-bit version of the song. You just repeat the process for whatever song you want in 8-bit. :)

@Haydn78 Actually, this isn't the official Nintendo Sound Format, so they wouldn't be able to do this. Unless they utilized Konami's VRC6 or VRC7 expansion chip, there would not be enough channels for sound programmers to work with in order to get all the instruments as accurate as possible.
