Phoenix, listen, HOW DID YOU NOT SEE THE ANIME DUDE IN THE CRAFTING TABLE/FURNACE LOADING SCREEN
@@juliaatkinson4199 I think he did, why else would he be laughing so much about it?
A few seconds in the video and I can already sense the nostalgia from the classic tutorial world of minecraft...
3:37 That Opening looks great. Wish I could use it in my game
For people who wanna know, piglins have a 2.18% chance of giving a pearl.
The answer to the question in the video is 4.7% as that is what it was in 1.16 the version used for speedrunning
the photo at 3:25 makes sense. The furnace and crafting table are facing towards the diamond ore's direction, not the crafting table having a furnace's texture. If anything, there's a picture of Goku beside the lava-fall…
yeah that's what i was thinking. the crafting table and furnace are fine, it's just the angle making an illusion of a forward-facing furnace table
but look at the stone blocks behind it, theres no way the crafting table and furnace can be next to each other
I thought it was that the furnace uses the wrong textures, because look it’s the offset pixels

the cloaker audio made something in me wake up and it's not going back to sleep
real talk; Mojang needs to mark arrows you cannot pick up as "fake" and automatically delete them over time / when another fake-arrow spawns, as the lag they cause is horrible.
@@SUPER_ZOMBIE I think you can spawn a billion arrows in 5 minutes. So instead of time, why not a hard limit based in whether you have fast/fancy/fabulous graphics? The only reason I can think of this not working is because arrows are entities and not just effects
The arrows Skeletons shot USED to be purple, or at least was planned to be. Wonder why they never added this back in? It's a good visual cue.
@@Nykomil one other great way is entity limit, for example, 200 unpickable arrows existing will make the oldest arrow disappear when a new one appears
When asked how to pronounce "Mojang", Dinnerbone said "There's no official way, you can pronounce it "Moswigglybanana" if you wanted."
I guess Mojäng would be the correct pronunciation as it is the inspiration for the company name but I think it is funnier with any pronunciation and it’s what they’ve said so 🤷
0:32 the reason that evokers drop the totems instead of using them is because they can only work when they are in one of your hands. So they drop them the same way a player would if it was in your inventory and not in your hands.
5:21 sinister is used in the game by banners to describe something on the left, which is the original meaning of "sinister." this meaning originally comes from the terminology used to describe coats of arms. (where it actually referred to the left of the person bearing the metaphorical shield, because coats of arms are based off of shields. therefore, on a coat of arms, something "sinister" is on the viewer's right.)
2:36 This was NOT an "ohhh" of shock, this was an "ohhh" of pure, primal bliss.
Truely a reaction that can only come to a person once in their lifetime
i cant tell if people are laughing at the furnace and crafting table to confuse the rest of us at 3:25 or if they dont see the guy in the hoodie
god damnit i thought it was the lighting being weird until you pointed that out
0:15
Just predicted that he would say that.
The Cloaker Villager actually gave me PTSD
Phoenix: I’ll always say “mo-yeng”
Also Phoenix later: “mo-jhang” 💀
The sad part is how despite people arguing about how to pronounce it you would expect one or the other to be correct, right? No, they're not :(
It’s actually Mo-Jhang, because when Mojang introduced their new intro/name, they mentioned Mo-Jhang
3:56 I don't why that made me laugh so much. I don't even know if I understand it. It just made me laugh.
As a Swedish speaker I pronounce mojang as “moopelskoopelboopel” totally not “moe-yang”
5:47 THE SHADE OMGGGGG
Phoenix the Jean moment is the most hilarious one I seen, that's the problem when trying to search SFW fur art and you get those x_x
3:24
I can’t believe I just hurt my brain over an optical illusion of the furnace face being on the side of the crafting table instead of realizing that there’s a hidden Goku somewhere…
*_I need Tylenol after this_*
3:44 They should have that as an Intro as an option in the settings: Animated Menu / Dynamic Update Menu
maybe a legacy menu option too for those who like the old one.
I love the touch of the menu falling down like how it used to in old versions of the game with the dirt bg.
Btw do you know what was wrong with the crafting table and furnace?
Edit: found it-
Hearing Phoenix pronounce "Mo-Jheng" feels odd. Also, was he moaning when he saw that Ender Dragon pic? I know I would.
When he saw that image I felt like he just read my search history. I'm always down bad...

5:20 Nice, another randomizer I can try in Minecraft! I love randomizers!
0:50 send this to dream
3:08 So fun fact I've picked up from occasionally watching videos about a certain infamous Minecraft server: apparently there's a hardcoded limit to the number of unique maps you can have in a world.
There isn't a hard coded limit.
It's just the bit limit,
for 1.12 its 37,???
for 1.13 its several billion.
@@igameidoresearchtoo6511 : Yes, that's the _reason_ it's hardcoded, but if they didn't actually hardcode it, then the game would allow you to keep opening new maps and simply overwrite previous ones.
@@notagoat281 It's not hardcoded, it's a software limit
they can't raise it without changing the main core software, which is java.
Also you can overwrite previous maps, in all versions of minecraft, but in newer ones you need to make several billion maps before they overwrite...
but in a few anarchy servers this is very common, infact almost once a week 2b2t overwrites it's maps, but that's on the older 32k limit (yes I meant 32k in my previous message not 37k sorry), for newer versions you can overwrite but you need billions of maps, and by that point you have other concerns..mainly about your life and storage space available to humanity..
@@igameidoresearchtoo6511 : I could've sworn the video I watched said that they couldn't make any new maps, but it has admittedly been a while since I watched it, so maybe you're right.
2:34 The third one being from Furaffinity gave me a fight or flight reaction
3:13 - the trapdoors are inside the same block
Honestly I would love for Mojang to release a 1 Minute Video where someone like Jeb would answer the Moyang/Mo-Jhang question with: „We know, but we won‘t tell you. We love to see the community suffer!“ and then maniacally laugh for about 15secs while a combination of the 13 disc and creepy cavesounds are played louder and louder
When they rebranded the logo some years ago I heard they also officially went with one over the other. Wanna say they chose Moh-Jheng.
I pronounce it neither as Moyang nor as Mo-Jhang. Mo-Young is the only way.

If you don't get it
It looks like the crafting table has a furnace texture on it's side, however the furnace is just next to it
@@MooseShower OP didn't get it either. There's Goku in a swag outfit on the left. Lol
3:32 this is why you don't put furnaces next to crafting tables cuz It will create this illusion
Very surprised to hear the Wuppo soundtrack but I'm not complaining.
5:21 I’m pretty sure the ‘sinister’ is referring to banner patterns
Yep. It's a blazon -- a formal heraldric description of a banner. A "bend sinister" is a diagonal going from bottom left to top right. A bend dexter would go the other way. Yellow (though in proper blazon it should be "Or" from the French for "gold") in this case means it's yellow on the right side of the diagonal. The blazon is incomplete, since it doesn't say what color the other side of the banner is.
3:25 I actually paid so much attention to the crafting table and furnace that not only did I completely miss drip Goku, but I somehow thought the front furnace texture was on the side of the crafting table...
peenix: i will always say mo-yheng
also peenix 20 seconds later: sincerely, the *mo-jhang* team
2:29 You know, despite the differing opinions with Anthro, can't deny it is good talent.

i had to watch the trap door part a few times to get it lol "there are 2 in 1 block in between the beds"
Phoenix: i say moyang its become a habit
Also phoenix seconds later: MOJHANG
0:47 looks like the furnace is using boat as fuel to smelt the sponges but it seems like that it would not fit inside
The evokers may have forgotten that they had the totems in their inventory.
3:22 You have seen the wrong thing 😂, THERE IS SOMETHING ELSE IN THE MINESHAFT (a roblox character?) (he edited the image). The crafting table is next to the furnace, and there is something burning in the furnace. It looks the same in game, there is nothing wrong with that.
there's this thing called "playing along"

I'm always interested and concerned at how many ways Steve gets messed in those loop animations

4:48 that post has excellent taste in music
Fun fact, at 3:23 there is something more than drip goku. Can you see what shape lava is trying to making at right of Goku?
If that wasn't a red so contraption that must have taken nearly days to make that animation at the beginning
1:48 bro stop jumpscaring me with cloacker noise
0:38 Well the answer is simple: he doesn't know how to equip items. Only a select few mobs other than the player have figured that out, and they include such staggering intelligences as the Fox and a few Zombies and Skeletons. You can have a Totem in your inventory, or even on your hotbar, but unless you're actually holding it in one of your 2 hands, it doesn't go off. I bet if you used commands to equip an Evoker with a Totem of Undying it would get used. Which would mean that's literally all it is. They just don't know how to equip them.
Or the totem is like apart of the evoker, possibly which gives it magical powers
