The deer looks very cute. It is definitely more detailed. I bought my first one out of curiosity and unboxed her tonight. Oh God! The doll is very pretty but I can't believe how much they charge full price. This one was very reduced but I think I would be very upset if I had bought one full price. They had only a few left. I picked the owl. I love owls. I can't believe she does not even have a top. I opened an omg doll this morning and the doll is truly amazing. It is a bit of a shock. Definitely not the same quality and creativity. The Barbie doll is very pretty but compared to an omg, she looks quite cheap. I know I should not compare them but it is difficult considering I opened them on the same day. I will find a good outfit for her. She needs it desperately! I said I would not buy anything more but the reductions are crazy in France in one of the supermarkets. It was impossible to resist these crazy prices. One thing is certain, I will not buy another Cutie reveal even heavily reduced!
Hi i totally agree they are overpriced and i think mattel need to step their game up because other companies are starting to show them up. I said i wouldnt get another one but i do have 3 now. Our sales are not good here there are never any really good reductions. As you say it is odd it is the supermarkets here that have the reductions not the toys shops, apart form my lastest addition with the sindy house in Argos but that is only because they are not making anymore. In France, the sales are generally not good for toys. It is only this supermarket. I guess they bought too many items. A kind of stock error. I had more disappointment with that doll. She has a kind of weird defects on one of her cheek. It is not very obvious in real life but looks awful in close up photographs. I have to take the picture a certain way otherwise it shows Grrrr. I like her face and hair but I can't stand the granny underwear. It makes it difficult to dress her. The crappy plushy did not do it for me either. I managed to take a picture where she looks like a vampire (difficult to believe but she does! lol). I might put her on Flickr later. I have no space and no photoshop or light room so I take close up portraits. I love dolls' faces anyway. I haven't bought a Barbie new in shops for years. I like 80's/90's Barbie dolls and the original Fashionistas. I thrift them. I only bought one recent fashionista in a shop. Very disappointed. I guess it is really not for my age group!! I really liked the panda plush costume... well, it's ok she was cheap... but the clothes and accessories are so crappy... And these hideous boots! Lol 😁 😆 🤣 😂 😹 it is sad. I understand why people complain about Mattel! Sorry for the rant but I think I needed it somehow! My Flickr account is "Tula dreams in colour" if you are interested. She is not on it yet. I need to digest the disappointment first 😉
@@darklight4251 You really have had bad luck with her. If mattel are not careful they will loose the lead in the market and that is so sad as she has a great history. Sometimes i think it is because things come out too fast. I have not looked on Flicker before but i will have a look 🥰🥰
Flickr is very good. There are quite a bit of dolls and toys collectors there. People are lovely. There are of course all kind of photographs, some of them amazing. It is not very popular anymore. Most UA-camrs use Instagram except "A thousand splendid dolls" and a handful of others. Of course, the pictures have less views but I could not care less. I don't like Instagram very much.
Honestly, these Cutie Reveals have pretty much left me cold, until this one. I love her colours and the deer outfit is very cute. One of the things which put me off the previous ones was the fact that they had animal noses and whiskers - if this one just has stars on her face I can definitely cope with that! Her pink hair is stunning too. Also I had to check if female Reindeer have antlers and apparently they do (I also didn't know that caribous and reindeers are the SAME animal). This whole colour change with heat and cold is annoying. Before when I had a Colour Reveal with this feature I essentially just used my fingers on her face and the heat from them made the make-up vanish. But honestly they always look weird without make up so I'm happy to leave her with it on.
I am reall pleased with her, i like the bunny but didnt think i would get another one. as you say the colours are lovely and her hair is wonderful, maybe need a wash and style though. I wont bother with the colour change she is lovely as she is. Thank you for watching 🥰🥰
