So let me get this straight..Brad Cox wheels back Catching Freedom in 2 weeks because of the way the horse bounced back and at that time knowing Muth was in the race , but Muth Scratches out and Tuscan Gold who hasn't raced on 50 days and we dont know if horse will love the muddy going , has only won a MSW is going to step up 5 levels and win the preakness in only his 4 start over the winner of the louisiana derby, the 4th place finisher in Kentucky Derby which if that happens Brad Cox was bringing his horse back not knowing what he was doing as Flavian Pratt / Catching freedom get beat by Tuscan gold... Right ? Just because Chad Brown is good trainer... Come on maaaan !! There's so many handicapping flaws in that theory it's mind boggling..Make your head spin... That kind of thinking is mind set of Car Salesman in which you lose alot money..Wow!! Not across the board but one of the 3 atleast (if Wet or sloppy) IMO wager What You Like BC i only Hit a $20 W Bet in Mystik Dan for the Derby and only cashed $392.60
Hernandez lost 2 big stakes races today with outside moves on last turn to the 5 in the Barton when he was the 6 and against the 6 in Preakness when he was the 5. Trainer either told him to get off rail for last furlong or he fucked up. He did that in the Smarty Jones and came up 5th.
It comes down to a few things on race day: how does the horse feel, did he shit today, does he like running on a muddy track if it rains like hell, does he like getting dirt kicked in his face? Is he nuts?
Don’t laugh. Anything is possible. I won money on Giacomo back in 2005 and he was 80 to one because some old man that I waited on in the restaurant told me to play him. So just for shits and giggles I did. That old man may have been dementia ridden, but he sure as hell knew his horses.!!! I saw a 99 to one horse when a grade 2 race up in New York so anything is possible

The hype about his riding the rail was more than likely the fact that in both the Southwest Stakes n Derby he didn't have a choice but stay on rail.
