What's my story? An engineer, in love with his job, started teaching on the side. Got lucky. Impacted 1000s of lives. Had to finally leave his job to increase the impact surface area. Raised $5M funding to fix education. Is learning day and day about startups and building a valuable product.
How is it going? A decade of engineering helps in systems thinking and product building. Learning about Strategy, Marketing, People Management, and Finance on the go.
What am I building? Today, 25 million Indians prepare for government job entrance exams. They do it for years together. The probability of success is less than 1% but they still do it. Why? For the lack of a structured alternative to launch their white-collar career. I am building Invact to bridge this gap.
How? Follow me to know, it's a long story. I am telling it in parts every day.
1. Don't start with harder topics first
2. 2:14 Learn to work on basic tools like Github, VSCode, etc.
3. 4:16 Don't try to learn multiple programming languages or frameworks simultaneously, gain the in depth knowledge first.
4. 6:07 Learn to debug and read your errors on your own first, and give it time.
5. 8:08 Don't compare yourself and your growth with others.

Here's my skill set: HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3 (SASS), JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, ES6 (beginner level), React JS (beginner learning knowledge). I totally agree with you bhaiya, I have been coding for the last one and a half year and now I know how vs code, IDE's, git, github work and I also know little bit of DSA and full stack web development
correct sir, many bootcamp promotes DSA first then development, I will always say my junior to learn development make some project be a basic engineer, at least learn this to get a job, then learn DSA at leetcode codeforces and become high level programmer engineer.
Yes, I am also unable to solve DSA questions. Now I am learning frontend development and Reactjs.
I started learning JavaScript 2 years back, and with one year of basic learning JS, I went for advanced JS, within 2 months I got so skilled that I never stuck in JS in any problem or even in interviews.

@@kumarshiva4789 yea bro, to understanding a concept, UA-cam is good enough, but you can also go for FreeCodeCamp Js & aglo course, that is detailed and step wise course that actually helped me master JS a lot.

@@theking8530 getting into industry and in those companies where learning potential is good matters more than salary. You will eventually get good salary since industry has paying capacity.

Have been working at an MNC service based company for more than a year now. They made me work on Angular and Java, although I had interest in React only. So, started revising Javascript and React past 2 months, and cracked a startup interview. It's about React and DevOps. Currently, serving notice period at the MNC, and gonna start working in that startup from January 3rd week. So, revising React right now, and looking into AWS too.
Just to add, in my 1 year of work at this MNC, I had only written like 3~4 lines of code. My work was mostly making Technical Design Documentation, PPTs and junit code coverage. My profile was of developer btw
