I did the first infiltration mission in The Fortress this morning, and the boss had the gimmick with his orbs still active. The gimmick in that each orb alternates between being vulnerable and invulnerable.
Warframe's biggest upside is that the devs listen to the criticism of their player base whether they do anything about it now or later.. not every content on warframe is positive.. like for a while now, a playable character called Inaros was not getting the attention from the devs that other warframes were getting.. but eventually through years of videos being published on youtube about how bad this character was .. through people's tier list or just a showcase about what certain characters are capable of (build vids).. Inaros finally got reworked.. criticism is feedback.. as a live service game you cant survive without that because devs cant predict and test for everything... and Simon is definitely not the only content creator talking about this

My issue is that people complain about grinding the amorphous but it the same with relics in Warframe u have to grind them to get a chance at getting something inside. But in warframe the relics are used primarily for prime stuff the ultimate equivalent in this game. Think the best option would be to lock base characters behind missions and leave the ultimate material behind amorphous. Also increasing the drop chance would be much appreciated. Way I see it the games incomplete. Can't have a warframe clone without ripping off the warframe self sustaining economy. Let us trade items and caliber and it should be fine.

The problem I have with this game is that ult guns are locked behind collosi fights especially the hard mode bosses. I would rather just grind the dungeons and have low drop rate then to deal with some of the collosi fights. I shouldn't have to use 4 specific characters just to get pass the collosi hard mode bosses.
The biggest mistake of this game is than some "Descendant" are Too OP, TOOOO OP, like Bunny, enormous area, monstrous damage and the fastest character. So boring watching a big rought boss and then watch him dead in 5 fvcking seconds. where is the gameplay? where the fvck is the emotion of playing against that big monster? Where the is the challenge of the fighting with a really big and bad guy?. I want to love this game but it is putting too hard.
I agree 100% except for the elephant in the room: the colossus difficulty blocking progression for casuals. Just watch global chat for the never-ending stream of people blocked.
It’s not difficult though. Those fights just mean you gotta pay attention to your mods & upgrade them. Takes 5 secs to look at the boss info screen so you know what damage type to prioritize, etc

I dont think the drop rates are formatted well by design. 20% isn't correlating to a one out of five chance, it seems to be more like a 1 in 20 chance. I would be willing to be that they are eventually gonna come out and claim some 'lost in translation' BS and claim we were the ones misinterpreting the %.
That is not how percentages actually work though. Percentages are over a large sample size, not small ones. Majority of people complaining about drop rates are ironically doing so about the 20% ones. 20% does NOT equal a 1/5 chance!

All these live service games follow the same formula, first you play a questline to learn the mechanics, then you do a bunch of missions to loot stuff for crafting for your gear and finally a billion hours to be able to upgrade to "end game" gear. This is why I don't play them anymore, more like a pure single player and some PvP mp kind of guy, not a "grinder" at all.
Yep, glad you recognize that. Nothing wrong with this type of game and gachas in my opinion, but it isn't for everyone. Nothing wrong with basketball games or pet care games but I'm not the least bit interested.
I think this grind is better than just straight up farming 1 item at a 0.1% chance but run the same instance 500000 times. Like I understand people hate the rng on top of the rng on top of the rng but I swear to god, I cannot run hard infils more than once or twice before I hate myself so doing hard mode intercepts to spend those amorphs in between is a breath of fresh air, I feel like they could do more with it tho. The point however is that I dont want a straight grind because here's what happened, I farmed for gley, got gley, heard about python, thought it sounded neat, looked at my access journal on how to get, had 3/4 pieces of it passive from grinding gley. That made me happy in a way no game has done because you dont just "find out" randomly in other games that somehow you've also grinded for other stuff while grinding for the stuff you wanted. The problems in this game imo are these, boss orbs, like wtf, repetitive quests(which thank god are super short tho except follow the drone) and the re use of bosses, like swamp walker or executioner having 3 different reskins, nah chief. But I also love this game and I hope it grows but the grind imo is kind of fine, definitely prefer this over a straight up run this dungeon a million times and you will get it eventually type of thing. I love that there are SO many different sources to get a blue print, you can run defenses, hard infils or outposts and they all redeem differently too but all give the same item across varying sources. I think that's a plus.

I must say that as a player from warframe, the starting argument doesn't sound like one The timers are very bad. No one should argue that. Luckily, the devs said they will be reducing it next patch bc players have said how boring it is. Honestly, a personal rating for the game 7/10 may be an upgradeable 8 with QoL Warframe to comapre is a SOLID 8 but no end game. I hope the devs plan for dungeon gives us a fun endgame. But who knows, i am just an internet guy #10,832,576, but with 2k+ hours on warframe, this game is pretty fun still. The devs have listened to QoL complaints and see what the players are doing the most to see what needs to be improved. For those that haven't played warframe, I can see the bored factor kicking in quick. The warframe players that are also over MR 30 know that if we have no content, we grind. XD
I think Nexon needs to take srs actions on fixing drops, its super hard to get high lv Modules and they made it feel like having to pay for everything. If this keeps going more ppl will go back to play Warframe or Destiny
This genre is not for everyone, you might be suffering from shock especially since you mentioned not playing comparable games. Historically Korean games are notoriously grindy and have microtransactions. They spend Billions yearly on just mobile games alone. Their gaming culture is drastically different and has been this way for years. Even as far as Korean games go the Descendants drop rates and the prices for stuff in their store are insane. It is possible to be an enjoyable game and a bad game simultaneously. I agree that people don't want any form of criticism regardless of how it is relayed. Their money practices are disgraceful I hope they will change but doubtful they will venture far from the path the started on
Dude youve been playing warframe. this IS warframe without trading. That game was early access for years. This one....has promise. So if it goes THAT way. Games gonna get harder and so is the grind for optimization. The lean on RNG will get worse and the tradeoff is theres no real defined "power ceiling". I went in knowing exactly what this was. This may not be for you man. Im positive its gonna get better but the bones of the game are already made so it might be a while before something impactful happens. I met people who are biggest losers in their lives by being a white-knights and fanboys of this game they say, "oh i have got my ultimate-bunny parts with-in total 5-6 tries each, when I tell them look, you are being extra lucky but not everyone is getting it, either people are getting it after their 40+ or 60+ tries and every time opening 112-pattern for "ulti-ajax stabilizer" they are keep getting "Secret Garden Poly Syncytium" the way the defend this poor rng is, by they give the example of tossing-a coin, if you are keep getting heads, it make you believe that tails just doesnt exist (but it does exist its just your luck is terrible) its just a probability which you are experiencing of getting heads every time instead of tails what these people or fanboys fail to understand is, rng here in this game, doesnt work like a coin, it's a dice. That dice is working so poorly or intentionally rigged by the company, before first-descendant, nexon was charged and sued for false drop-rate, and I will not be surprised if they get sued again for lying about their drop rates.
There isn't only one place to acquire blue prints they all have multiple missions areas to acquire so you rotate between them and open different patterns and if you don't do that you do some void missions to earn some shards to open void boss machines you are always busy there is no down time what's the issue
The "grind" in all of these games is basically the same mechanic that keeps people coming back to casinos for little to no payoff. The mechanic in question is exploitation of the dopamine rush people get when they win something against the odds. The more overwhelming the odds, the greater the rush. Grind is fine, multiple layers of grind is not. I don't want to play a 30 minute mission for a 2.6% chance to get an item that gives me an additional 3% chance to get the thing I want which only drops 12% of the time in the first place. Considering all the stuff they lifted DIRECTLY from Warframe, they should have just gone ahead and copied more of the grind farm mechanics too.
Black Desert is not comparable at all, Warframe grind from what I remember is this but more enjoyable and not as tedious with more variety and faster pace, grinding for characters on descendant feels only worth it for mastery xp before going back to Bunny, they could all use a buff/change, aside from Bunny, on top of streamlining materials needed and the grind for them and weapons. This games still in the honeymoon phase but hopefully doesn't wait too long to actually improve important lacking parts.

150hrs in story complete all bosses killed , all i have to look forward to now is grinding drop rates which is terrible, im really bored and frustrated as id like to build other descendants not even the ultimate just the normal but the drop rates and all the crap ingredients you need is getting on my nerves and the drop rates jesus , it took me 3 days 6 hours in each to finally get one component for gley which is ridiculous, but i have her on build which takes 15hours to build so i can't use her till tomorrow (unless i pay) (not gonna happen) what im trying to say is this game doesn't respect your time and is constantly trying to wrestle money out of you to save time too enjoy the game and that isnt a good model for a game , i have played warframe for 5 years and destiny 2 for 2 years so i understand grind when done correctly , but this game takes it to the next level with its 6% drop rates 😅 which will eventually kill off the player base as to play the game and enjoy means alot of time invested or money 🤑 spent to get to end game were theres nothing but more grind or more spending 💰 , yes i heard ,, NEXON like wallets but if they are not careful they will destroy the core fanbase then try and reverse the damage by dropping prices and and lifting drop rates , im hearing alot of grumbling bubbling up to the surface about prices and drop rates online everywhere so they need to fix it fast because as soon as the majority of players reach endgame where there's nothing but more grind and the rediters start dragging the game and nexon through the mud it's all over , yes i understand nexon have a road map for the future of this game but they need to fix the issues before this game becomes another outriders, a game which had potential until the devs killed it, p.s i enjoy this game but the grind needs slashing in half minimum, oh well back to destiny / Warframe until Nexon pull there hands out of people pockets.
Exactly how I’m thinking about this too. I want to level up and make my other descendants stronger (especially my Sharen for stealth) BUT I can’t get an energy activator. Its a 6% drop chance BUT on hard and hard missions take me 20 times longer & I can’t consistently beat hard mode boss. I easily do 1st mission and collect 55 amorphous patterns, then go farm the normal boss and turned in 55 amorphous and got ZERO blueprints for energy activators. Sure it’s 3% …. Yes I understand BUT Nexon should understand I turned the game off and haven’t been back since.
Warframe is much better farming. Diablo has better drop rate. Having to have one charter just give you more drops by playing a mini game just to get materials is annoying. I think game play is fun but i think farming in the beta was far better. The fact that most of the things are stuck behind hard mode isnt cool either. Also it if your in a groupd then loot should be the same. And shouldnt take 2-3 hours for one item. Rng needs to be better and have a pity system. Imo. Fun but poor judgment. Maybe with a Diablo treatment it'll get better. You want to see a good community for a free game look at DE with warframe.
Don't get me wrong I like the game but even I know that the way the mechanics designed in this game is f*cked up Heck at least add a scale system that the more you grind that certain mission the percentage increases for the items that didn't drop Lets be honest the whole point of this system is to get you to buy them
Try doing encrypted vaults in hard mode ,lol you cant even get the code breakers to drop from the missions to even attempt the mind numbing grind of the vaults themselves
I have 3 characters now, The Rabbit, Sharen and the Ice V. I don’t think I’m even going to bother farming the others, seeing as the Rabbit can OP basically any content apart from some of the Void things. I just don’t see a use for the other characters or a purpose.😊

Like I said last video I’m a Sharen main one farmed outposts got some of the ult weapons but the outpost desgin makes me want to not play the game. Too many things are locked behind outposts also I have every part for lepic except for the blueprint but wait I looked at ult lepic verses regular they both had the same drop rate how does that make sense. I like the game but it has issues so thanks for talking about the issues. Cause the reloading into an instance over and over again is ridiculous for a basically mandatory farm for most items in endgame. It needs to have a way to reset it early a console to active an outpost would be better than that shit timer and or make multiple ways to farm a item like on warframe , but thanks for the vids that actually talk about the problems I’m not a casual but even I see what you mean.

An 20% chance should equate to in 1-5 chance by an average but can vary greatly
I've gotten more 3% chance items than I have 20%, something feels off but I doubt its what you claim it to be. A bug perhaps? Benefit of the doubt atm

not everyone is getting it, either people are getting it after their 40+ or 60+ tries and every time opening 112-pattern for "ulti-ajax stabilizer" they are keep getting "Secret Garden Poly Syncytium"
the way the defend this poor rng is, by they give the example of tossing-a coin, if you are keep getting heads, it make you believe that tails just doesnt exist (but it does exist its just your luck is terrible) its just a probability which you are experiencing of getting heads every time instead of tails
what these people or fanboys fail to understand is, rng here in this game, doesnt work like a coin, it's a dice. That dice is working so poorly or intentionally rigged by the company, before first-descendant, nexon was charged and sued for false drop-rate, and I will not be surprised if they get sued again for lying about their drop rates.

There isn't only one place to acquire blue prints they all have multiple missions areas to acquire so you rotate between them and open different patterns and if you don't do that you do some void missions to earn some shards to open void boss machines you are always busy there is no down time what's the issue
The "grind" in all of these games is basically the same mechanic that keeps people coming back to casinos for little to no payoff. The mechanic in question is exploitation of the dopamine rush people get when they win something against the odds. The more overwhelming the odds, the greater the rush.
Grind is fine, multiple layers of grind is not. I don't want to play a 30 minute mission for a 2.6% chance to get an item that gives me an additional 3% chance to get the thing I want which only drops 12% of the time in the first place. Considering all the stuff they lifted DIRECTLY from Warframe, they should have just gone ahead and copied more of the grind farm mechanics too.

Black Desert is not comparable at all, Warframe grind from what I remember is this but more enjoyable and not as tedious with more variety and faster pace, grinding for characters on descendant feels only worth it for mastery xp before going back to Bunny, they could all use a buff/change, aside from Bunny, on top of streamlining materials needed and the grind for them and weapons. This games still in the honeymoon phase but hopefully doesn't wait too long to actually improve important lacking parts.

i saw another comment about devs vs feedback, this game has a lot of complains dated 1 year+ back and all of the problems persisted on launch
150hrs in story complete all bosses killed , all i have to look forward to now is grinding drop rates which is terrible, im really bored and frustrated as id like to build other descendants not even the ultimate just the normal but the drop rates and all the crap ingredients you need is getting on my nerves and the drop rates jesus , it took me 3 days 6 hours in each to finally get one component for gley which is ridiculous, but i have her on build which takes 15hours to build so i can't use her till tomorrow (unless i pay) (not gonna happen) what im trying to say is this game doesn't respect your time and is constantly trying to wrestle money out of you to save time too enjoy the game and that isnt a good model for a game , i have played warframe for 5 years and destiny 2 for 2 years so i understand grind when done correctly , but this game takes it to the next level with its 6% drop rates 😅 which will eventually kill off the player base as to play the game and enjoy means alot of time invested or money 🤑 spent to get to end game were theres nothing but more grind or more spending 💰 , yes i heard ,, NEXON like wallets but if they are not careful they will destroy the core fanbase then try and reverse the damage by dropping prices and and lifting drop rates , im hearing alot of grumbling bubbling up to the surface about prices and drop rates online everywhere so they need to fix it fast because as soon as the majority of players reach endgame where there's nothing but more grind and the rediters start dragging the game and nexon through the mud it's all over , yes i understand nexon have a road map for the future of this game but they need to fix the issues before this game becomes another outriders, a game which had potential until the devs killed it, p.s i enjoy this game but the grind needs slashing in half minimum, oh well back to destiny / Warframe until Nexon pull there hands out of people pockets.
Exactly how I’m thinking about this too. I want to level up and make my other descendants stronger (especially my Sharen for stealth) BUT I can’t get an energy activator. Its a 6% drop chance BUT on hard and hard missions take me 20 times longer & I can’t consistently beat hard mode boss. I easily do 1st mission and collect 55 amorphous patterns, then go farm the normal boss and turned in 55 amorphous and got ZERO blueprints for energy activators. Sure it’s 3% …. Yes I understand

Warframe is much better farming. Diablo has better drop rate. Having to have one charter just give you more drops by playing a mini game just to get materials is annoying. I think game play is fun but i think farming in the beta was far better. The fact that most of the things are stuck behind hard mode isnt cool either. Also it if your in a groupd then loot should be the same. And shouldnt take 2-3 hours for one item. Rng needs to be better and have a pity system.

Like I said last video I’m a Sharen main one farmed outposts got some of the ult weapons but the outpost desgin makes me want to not play the game. Too many things are locked behind outposts also I have every part for lepic except for the blueprint but wait I looked at ult lepic verses regular they both had the same drop rate how does that make sense.
I like the game but it has issues so thanks for talking about the issues. Cause the reloading into an instance over and over again is ridiculous for a basically mandatory farm for most items in endgame. It needs to have a way to reset it early a console to active an outpost would be better than that shit timer and or make multiple ways to farm a item like on warframe , but thanks for the vids that actually talk about the problems I’m not a casual but even I see what you mean.

@zeroxepntance it's literally the range game but less open world and more content bc the devs have had 10 years. Don't get me wrong, wf is fun, but will bore if you play it as a looter. MR 31, and I legit get on to play 4 missions to get the hand full of guns I don't own. Same as many players in tfd now.
