Hi everybody including dogs and cats. They all look so healthy , the weather is so mild all over Europe I love it not good with cold weather. Lived in Long Island NY for 10 years the cold is so diffrent its dry/sharp. Here in Co. Kildare it,s damp and it goes through you. Enough of my rant. See you all next week.
Although the temperatures in winter get lower than the UK, it's drier so it feels warmer, especially when the sun comes out. We don't miss the English winters (or any of the weather really). They are all in good shape so we must be doing something right with them, just need to work on me now!
I've been for a preoperative appointment for my knee so am now waiting for an OP date but have come to the conclusion that we need an internal staircase in our house when I'm back in the village in the new year for good.
@@ourlittlebulgarianadventure well I've got a date in early December for my knee op so fingers crossed j should be able to move to Bulgaria full time February March . Now a quick question would I be able to move bits and pieces by youngest son driving a van because there would be nothing of value and j have a residency card?
@@kaththomas670 I've checked with some people who have recently made the move and it seem that it is still possible but they were advised to keep a list of everything loaded into the van. It may help if customs stops you although they can still demand to inspect the contents of the van! There is also the possibility of duty and vat being charged but this only seems to be for the vehicle if it is being imported. Make sure there isn't too much new stuff in it's packaging as this can be viewed as brought in for resale. Usually the paperwork is all they need and they let you through. Sometimes you just need a little good fortune!
Hi guys. Loving the video submission from the start. We too just bought a house north of VT . Your videos are like a Haynes manual for Bg houses terrific 😄👍. Oh question for you two , why don't you use your van as a van anymore? Is it hard to register them from UK . My wife and I are thinking of bring a Transit over from UK in April. Cheers
Hi Duncan, we're glad the videos are useful although I think the Haynes manual has more detail! 😂 We stopped using the van because the mot had expired and there was a lot of problems that needed sorting. (Clutch, rear axle to name just two). The process for registering a van is quite straightforward and not overly expensive although you will probably be changed import duty and vat (sometimes they don't but prepare for the worse etc.) It seems the most important check is the VIN number. They make sure it matches the paperwork, if they can't read it they won't register the vehicle. Good luck in April, it's a long drive but at least you have your own stuff with you!
The three smaller dogs and two largest are all pups from the mother, Sofia. I suppose technically they are all street dogs with no particular breed. We were surprised by the variations between them all!
This time of the year it'll drys slow because there is more moisture around us.But it is better for the plaster to dry slowly. You are working with mudbricks,is the plaster also based on mud? The dogs and the cats looking great. Do you have to pay taxes for them?
The plaster is lime based to match the top layer of plaster already there. You need licenses for the dogs but they are free if they have been "done". All of ours have been or will be soon.

Love you guys.... I've enjoyed very much watching your videos 👍💯 Keep posting
Thanks Sorin, we're glad you're enjoying the videos. We plan to keep putting them up as long as people want to watch them.
Those dogs love you Adam
The certainly seem to don't they? I think they think I'm part of their pack!

Hopefully you won't have to wait for too long. Internal stairs are a must for at least 3 months a year! The only problem is where to put them.

The white pup looks very pretty, is that specific dog breed or just form the street? I noticed their tails are shorter as well
