Rainbolt, I did some investigating for you on this. Indo is one of a few places I've seen where you have a sidewalk without a curb. Instead of a curb, you might see a black and white barrier next to the street in larger cities. The double white here does seem to be unique to the Marinsow region in the very NE corner of Indo. Furthermore, that specific area near Marinsow was recently paved and you can see the super clean concrete. I'm no expert but did some hunting for about an hour. I would for sure take a quick look at the street view map to get a better understanding of the higher density areas for Indo - i.e., almost all of Indo street view is South Sulawesi, SE Sulawesi, and then near Manado. If not in one of those locations, odds are it's near the coast. Not sure if this helps but figured I would share a little.
4:10 I'm from Taiwan. The line that separates different directions in Taiwan is always yellow. The double yellow line means overtaking is prohibited, and the yellow dashed line means overtaking is permitted. A double white line is used to separate two lanes with the same driving direction.
@@felixmacias6264 Well clearly it's not the same in Sulawesi edit: not universal, but in my experience, many countries which drive on the right have yellow lines in the middle and white lines on the sides, and many countries which drive on the left have white lines in the middle and yellow lines on the sides. For a while I thought maybe it was a standard, like, "you have to have the yellow line to the left of the driver and the white line to the right of the driver," but there's no way everyone would agree on that, it's just a trend if anything.
Wild thing to me is, there is a spot that I drive past regularly during the summer, and I thought, "huh, that looks familiar" and he already figured almost exactly where it was before I could even recognize I actually KNOW it.
One time I was 5 meters away from the spot. It was in Canada and signs gave it all away, the country, the state, the road number. On another occasion, I was like a kilometer off, but I found it based on no signs. Instead, it was a landscape of a coast line. I dont remember how I discovered the country, a flag I think, but what matters is that I scrolled through the entire coast of that country in the map until I found a spot that matched the landscape.
