Poor explanation. Too much of jargon being used with unclear examples. What is set(value) ? - It should be explained that it is a way to create a custom accessor in Kotlin. Prerequisites need to be mentioned.
doesn't work if we use like val person = Person(name = "krishna", lastName = "sharma") then use print(person.name) only works if we call setter using object. Also doesn't work with data classes

There is a mistake in Person class. "name" is not a type parameter.
