ok so i finally finished watching and i will stand by the fact that you have immaculate taste in edits, and this wasn't even all that angsty to begin with. it's realistic and the PERFECT amount of angst while not being absolutely hopeless and i love how it ended on a happier note with all the friendships

These boys are literally trauma and angst in a bottle, them seeing they like eachother is NOT going to make them happy lol. They don’t not confess to eachother because they’re scared the other doesn’t feel the same way, but that they shouldn’t feel that way at all. Honestly, no shade or hate to those creators who do, but I don’t understand the videos where they see they love eachother, and then they just kiss (especially in front of everyone or even before they even react to the fact that they love e/o) or are immediately happy. Uh uh, these boys have a lot more barriers/obstacles to get over than a teen girl and boy have today, I feel like people forget that it’s the 80’s (+AIDS crisis, everyone. The horrible things actual queer people went through is just so devastating) they’re both male, and they live in a small (very homophobic, as we’ve seen- wills rumors passed by adults, and his father/bullies) town. They are not going to be happy at just the fact the love of their life loves them back, if anything I feel like they’d be scared for them, as they “caused the other more danger”. They don’t think loving the person they love is okay, and they won’t be okay with it just because the other loves them back. So, angst lovers, here ya go. But for the people who hate angst and it makes you cry, I sincerely apologize 😭. Sorry for the wait, “Reflections” really just hit the nail and made the whole video get blocked globally like 5 times lol. Hopefully this works.
