Owning a Rolex is like owning a 5 Series BMW. Sure, you've got some money, but you likely have nothing interesting to say. 'You know the difference between something that's mass produced......' Really? Rolex makes 1.2 Million watches per annum. The very definition of Mass Produced.
Good video but I'm curious. If Rolex, as a manufacturer that produces somewhere between 800,000 to a 1 million watches per year, doesn't that qualify as "mass produced"? And don't they have the largest market share of the Swiss watch exports? For the record, I wouldn't mind owning a black dial OP and I did subscribe to the channel.
Rolex has a 30% share of the Swiss watch market (with an estimated 1.24 million watches per year), which is more than the next five biggest brands combined. All Rolex watches are handmade (almost 24K per week).
Patek is probably the best watchmaker but Vacheron is also very good (I'm not an AP fan). Rolex is the highest-volume Swiss watchmaker with great resale value and some exceptional pieces.
Don't misunderstand what I'm saying . I love my Rolex's, but this video is the biggest load of bullshit I've see on UA-cam, EVER !!! Hard to believe that even Rolex , itself , would pay for this drivel.
The movement finish is poor compared with, say, a 3135 movement, these modern Rolex models from what I've seen isn't a patch on the older models. Plus there's the cost of, say, a stainless steel model, the manufacturers cost is sub 500 US.
People wearing Rolex mostly has no knowledge, just buy them because of brand awareness. The same as Ferrari is considered to be the best sports car. Money to show off, but no taste. Also, person wearing Rolex and driving Ferrari, has to lick dealer's ass to get awarded with waiting list slot, just the regular models. One person's money should be equal to other's. Audemars Piguet is the best watch brand! Classy and known by enthusiasts.
From what I’ve heard AP are the worst for their waiting lists. You have to lick their ass completely just for them to even consider you to get on the list, as if they’re doing you a favour for selling you the watch! It’s a shame because the Royal Oak is my most favourite time piece, but I know I’ll probably never be able to buy one retail because I don’t fit their “customer range”
silly video, not flashy? really? i have experienced unwanted attention and envy in the room, with different rolex, so this person speaking has no idea, please remove this misleading video, dont embarrass yourself

There were only about 25,000 made of the one I own, the Rolex Day-Date Oysterquartz.
Ban AI videos please
I'm trying to buy the Green OP 41 currently. My AD says hopefully it will be available soon.
The OP & DJ are popular and good value so there are some quality after-market custom dial colours available.

Because the Omega is too cheap to be ashamed to afford!
What a bizarre comment.
