Love this show.. my all time favorite show from the 70’s right behind Sanford and son was What’s Happening.. two great shows from when I was a kid.. and then listening to Demond’s interviews exposing Hollywood is amazing
Back then, black actors had to be able to sing, dance, play instruments, and recite Shakespeare. Grady Demond Wilson is one of the greatest talents that may be only known by few, but remembered forever. Was dropped by the network with not even a days notice. If I remember the story correct, even Redd didn’t tell him. I would have left it all together too. Glad he is living out his later years peacefully.
When this episode originally aired in the '70s, we were all amazed in front of the set. These actors were all such talents even before Redd Foxx put the show together. There's an interview with Esther - in real life - on UA-cam, that everyone should see: LaWanda Page "Sanford and Son" 1975 - Peter Wygant Archive, that demonstrates their relationships and how Foxx promoted their talent. And, what a mouth LaWanda had in her own comedy acts.
I don’t know for sure. 🧐🤔 “Am I Blue?” or “Bye Bye Blues” 🤣😅😊 don’t want to run off without hearing your question. I need to do some research. It’s a good ol’ good one. Thats for certain. 🎶✨
Demond Wilson, Redd Foxx, Gene Wilder, Peter Boyle, do not have Stars, on Hollywood's Walk Of Fame. It might not be that big of a deal, to have a Star, but, they should have one, in my opinion. It is all your fault, "Yondris Ferguson" . Not really. Thanks, for sharing this clip.
One of my favorite shows growing up. I must have watched the entire series 4 times over. This however, was one scene I hated. Not because of Lamont's tap dancing (which was fantastic), but because of the idiots in the audience whose clapping drowned out his performance. How about you let the man dance and save your applause until he is *finished* dancing!
@@sonjayechavarriaSo when someone says something to you that you don't understand, you just stand there with your mouth gaping instead of *asking* them what they mean? All righty then... 🙄
Go,, King Demond Wilson! It made me smile to see your talent 🔥🔥🔥🔥👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏾
Demond aka Lamont has natural dance talent. He crush it.

Lemont was a lost brother of the Hines Brothers. He has those tapping feet just like them.😂😂😂😂
Lamont is a great tap dancer but when he did that split sliding around on the stage had me rolling 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Awesome tap dancing indeed.
One day they signed contracts, another day they all slept in the hotel cemetery.

She was definitely a dirty blue comedian, like seriously filthy.
When the audience kept clapping always captured my attention.
Lamont can tap dance his ass off and can play the drums on the gong show
Are you a tap dancer?
Please purchase Demond Wilson's book- Second Banana, which tells about his life as well as his time on Sanford & Son! Amazon and eBay should have it!
It crazy I even remember him. I know hes dead now but look how full of life they were
Demond is alive and well.
Who here after the interview? 😂
What ah great moment for TV 😁
Have you ever thought of trying tap? 😂
It was Fred's double wing for me😂😂😂
That was the icing on the cake 😅😅😅😅
The tap dancing was cool.
Lamont is the only one still alive from this show
Tapping to bye bye blues? Impressive!
Officer Hoppy Mom Is Sitting In The Front Of The Audience.......Look Closely
I noticed that too.
Red Fox 😂😂😂
R E double D, F O double X - REDD FOXX. Get it right, you big dummy!
What's the name of the song? I just heard it on another show.

How you don't know and you replied to it, does that make any sense?

Stop acting like you don't know anything and it clearly shows what you responded to. Idiot.
Try some tap dancing!
If Lamont could do this at-will, then why was he driving around picking up junk instead of going into show-business??
They just don’t entertain like this any more!
Would you buy a shiny costume, black shiny tap shoes, and tap dance in traffic!
For the record, I’ve seen him tap dance. He’s greatly over exaggerating his abilities.
Who is this? Why am I watching it? What? Am I in youtube? Hello???? HELLO!?!
