In the last setup you could have put the Biel move instead of the sub and that would fill the finisher, buff green gem and hit the finisher, it would hit hard. With the plate that destroys 3 purple gems and gain 3 green mp you could try to activate twice the buff for the green gem, but with the risk of cascate.
