They officially retired in September 2020. However in April 2021 Vanessa came out of retirement and after being released by France she is now skating for Canada with pairs skater Eric Radford.
Morgan is no longer skating and is now a realtor in France.

This is such a true statement, I just wonder did he ever love her. Or is he still in love with her and afraid to say it or tell her. One can see it in his reactions to her. @@josephinelove4310 it's 4/23 did you see his engagement proposal on IG last year I think.. He moved on with starting a new life we all sending blessings for both of them. Perhaps they will do videos for UA-cam or other comments suggest they will be picked up for Hollywood movie/book whatever the future may hold for them I sure they know their fans won't forget them😇

I got bored with skating over the years, but then you 2 came along! You are like a finely tuned instrument playing beautiful music. The connection between you is incredible and it seems to reach into your souls. Amazing!!!
I got to know them while ago and loved them so much for the same reasons you point out that I went through every video I found. For me the most incredible beauty is their connection with each other and the music while ice skating. It's really amazing and it goes deep to their souls and they connect that to the public. It makes my heart melts with the smooth of their moves while Morgan rises Vanessa up in the air as if she was a feather with a glance of admiration of her. It's superb!!!

The timing of such a devastating event(s) when nobody has been violently harmed or even clearly harmed is excruciating for me to imagine for both of them, and actually especially Vanessa. I hope their retirement is very short lived, they win gold at the Olympics, maybe marry or stay friendly. Adults are often claiming things that they don’t need to, certainly not when they do here with events “alleged” 3-5 years ago... is it money damages someone seeks, blocking careers, attention, or not missing a legal timeline to put forth an alleged claim? Alleged. If true not good but too devastating ....the reaction. I don’t think any kind of misconduct by anyone should be tolerated or not more than once (for minor infractions!) but the response should fit the allegations. Nothing we’ve been told seems to be proportionate even if rumors or allegations happened to be true. In FRANCE it’s nothing much, in America (USA) there’s talk of dramatic penalties etc. when nobody has been murdered... except (and I hope NOT!) the skating union of Vanessa and Morgan. I send them love. As Vanessa says though, be kind or be quiet. I do not want to say too much, just be kind and hope others will be both kind and fair. It doesn’t feel fair right now.

Morgan is, however, extreamly blessed with a very strong family network to support him through these difficult and testing times. I truely appriciate them for being there for him.
As we are all human, we will ALL make mistakes, (and some may even do silly, stupid and childish things, ) to which one will be reprimanded and punished, proportionatly , for.
However, GOOD will alway prevail over EVIL regardless , of what moral covering is used to deflect public opinion.
To this day, I am still baffuled as to why TWO 13 year old girls would go and ASK a 26 year old MAN for a photo of his private !!!! (totally crazy, behavior in BOTH directions)

Norma Grant..It's not just you....Vanessa and Morgan's story of years of hard work and dedication that has resulted in this beautiful powerful skating couple that we have been able to view them growing into is so compelling! This is what we all wish for; that hard work so well done could bring so much joy to others as well as a sense of their own feeling of accomplishment! I pray the same for my own young adults as they go about accomplishing great things. I think this is my 5th time replaying this..so glad to see them💖💖

Indeed so sad they have now retired. Retirement does not allways mean an end to a partnership as they could of gone on to skate in ice shows and various productions for many many years. Sadly, for Vanessa and Morgan it's not to be. It clearly appears that they have truly parted ways and is now focused on their individual careers and life.
After 10 amazing years their exquisite beauty and poetic artistry will no longer be seen on the ice together. From outside looking in, I truly don't believe this magic and sublime beauty of Vanessa and Morgan could every be replicated if they each skate with another partner.

Thelma Martin- Vanessa and Morgan have officially retired from competitive skating as of 29th September 2020. They are no longer skating together and are independently persuing separate careers. They are so missed.
