Yuhi, it depends what you are looking to get into.
There are jobs at various levels and teams that suits various skill sets. Irrespective of your background (Tech, accounting, finance, audit, administrative, operations, support, etc).
Barclays Pune location has the most number of open positions across the world - even more openings than their London Global Head office location. So sky is the limit. Go for it.
In the current day and age, soft skills is one thing that will take you places. As long as you have a good soft skills, you will make it!!

I don't understand what's the point of making such a big deal of the 'looks' of the office.. The location is so deserted that there are no public transport available.. No rikshaw stand no pmt bus no 6 seater.. No trees no shade.. No confirmation abt premise parking.. Public parking spots are not there.. What is a common person supposed to do.. Why he will care abt all this nonsense.. He has to work meet his targets and expect to reach home safely on time.. He expect to get salary on time and respect from organization.. No one cares abt ur show off cement walls .. Start caring abt employees convenience first
Agree. kharadi is too hot and dry area. since there are so many companies the atmosphere is all about pubs and restaurants only.
these big companies are just a matter of luck with internal referring. Specially banks have so many old timers and their friends /family only.

1. BARCLAYS always pay salary on time
2. They have transportation facilities free of cost for all employees.
3. Apart from office transportation, if someone has personal vehicle they have ample amount or parking space on literally 2 floors reserved for parking.
Probably your comment is 1 year old, now that place is way too expensive to live nearby. It's very good place in my opinion
