Interesting to see a few of our historical sites, Damnations Corners, Carney's lane, the old post office, market square, the library, cenotaph, as well as several historic churches including Salvations Corner all minutes apart from each other by foot with Timmies dead center.
Cool the apartment building at 982 2 nd ave east the top two windows on the left of the shot was our apartment for many years back in late 70s to the early 2000s is where my mom and stepdad lived.. the building is shown at the 1 minute and 20 second mark of the video 😊

This is a beautiful little town; you did a great job capturing the essence of this town. Have to check again how it got such a strange name. Great job
It’s named after a British captain named owens.. my people called that area wadiweedawon..( the foggy place) it was a summering area for some Anishinabe and Mohawk families before colonization.. Georgian bay was known as the bay of the Iroquois

Looks like a peaceful un assuming town but there has been 2 murders in the town in the last few weeks. Town doesn't usually have any murders so drugs are likely involved. Also had a child die from eating the parents drugs not too long ago.
Yes and lots of break-ins and theft here unfortunately as well. The video depicts the downtown beautiful though.
I lived there in the 1970s and there was tons of crime then too. There is NOTHING to do there. No wonder there is so much crime.

what is the population of this town and what are part time job opportunities as a student
Population is around 20,000, I would assume part time job would be relatively easy to find like everywhere in Canada if you are not too particular about what job
