This was just what I needed. I used this vid to guide me through changing the battery on my 2013 Night Rod. The only change was I didn't have to undo a second hose because there is a downstem tube from the bottom of the airbox that pressure fits into the engine. Thanks for your help!
Seen many other videos for the same battery replacement. Your's was the best of all. Detailed explaination. Just a suggestion, it would be awesome if you let us know the tool measurements used. Appreciate your work. Ride safe.
Harley-Davidson V-Rods are very exciting!!! The V-rod engine is a works racer machine for the start dash, and a Porsche for high rotation!!!! The V-rod engine is a direct descendant of the works machine VR1000!!!!! it's an amazing motorcycle👍☆彡
Geez, considering all the battery issues I've had with my Street Glide I'm glad I don't have to do all this every time. Very good info though thank you.
Hi. Great video. One question, how do you disconnect the alarm signal? As soon as i remove the cables from the negative side the signal starts to go crazy. Is there a way to make that battery change without having the alarm ringing in my ears? Regards.
wtf are the o rings on the velocity stacks even there for. I changed my battery years ago, well it sat for 4 years as i got another bike. got a new battery and thought I put them there for some reason but they didnt fit anywhere else as I could tell.

No problem 👍 Thanks for checking out the video
Great Video!
Thanks for the visit
I suggest you take the coolant out, literally just pull it, and then the access to the rear cable that you use the plywrs on is way easier
That is a good idea! thanks for the tip!
Thanks for this video! It really was a great help to change the old battery on my Nightrod. Without this video I wouldn’t have done it myself.
what about the master fuse you have to disconnect?
No
