Ya'll seem like such kind people. im Guatemalan and I've seen many travel vlogs of people visiting guatemala and most seem like they only go for the views like the lake and the volcanoes and the colonial town. They have no interest or regard for the people that make guatemala, Guatemala. But yall seem to love and appreciate the people and the culture, specifically indigenous people. I enjoyed your video and your expressions of discovering new thing. Have a lovely day!
Absolutely agree! The cultural richness of Guatemala is just breathtaking. It’s awesome to see how you both embrace the local traditions and the warmth of the people. Can’t wait to see what other gems you discover!
This is really another great video, the fried chicken and latin meals look super delicious. The gastronomic side of the country is very attractive, Guatemala seems authentic 👌
You guys are so lovely, you were the reason, why we went to Mexiko 2022 last summer! Thank you soooo much for your well guided and emotional videos… we laughed and cry with you…. Thank you very much! Now we enjoy your videos from Guatemala- maybe our next trip🧐😂? Sarah and Marc from Switzerland😊
Hey guys! I'm Henry, I live in Zacualpa a town near to Chichicastenango, so if one day you decide to come to Guatemala and especially in Chichicastenango I could guide if you want, I love Chichi❤ also I'm learning English, so I could help by guiding and at the same time I could practice that language 😁
Watching you two every Sunday morning (along with my cup of tea) honestly makes my day, perhaps even the week. Your enthusiasm and graciousness to the people you meet on your travels is so heartwarming. Another great video - thank you! And, I am jealous of the gorgeous produce! See you next week! 🥰 Lisa from Winnipeg 🇨🇦
Hi Lisa! Aww that makes my heart feel so full knowing that you are enjoying our experiences and adventures with us! We appreciate your kind words. Wishing you a beautiful week!
What an unforgettable day! It’s funny when travel logistics become part of the memories… I’ve sure got some of those! I am loving your Guatemalan adventure. 🥰😎❤️
The trip to the market was such a neat adventure! I love all of the colors in the market and the handwork clothing was so beautiful. The basketball court produce area, wow! You are both great advocates for learning the culture and getting to know the locals, love you guys.
what an incredible vlog! Thank you for sharing your experience and showing us around Chichicastenango. The market looked like a vibrant and bustling place full of unique crafts and delicious food. And the colorful cemetery was so interesting to see, especially with the traditional Maya ceremonies taking place. It's clear that Chichicastenango is a place full of culture and history, and I appreciate you taking the time to document and share it with us. Keep up the great work!
The market area seemed really colourful and there was so much there to buy!! Love Adam's shirt in this episode. That mausoleums and crosses were so colourful - what a beautiful cemetery. The chicken buses were so colourful and creative - but it did kind of seem like a stressful experience trying to get on the buses and hustling between buses. But glad you had help and made it.
You guys are great! I love all de videos of places in Guatemala you have released. They have tons of information and I always feel like I’m traveling with you guys. You are also very funny and fun to watch. Thanks!
Aaahhhh, the memories! I took the chicken bus to ChChi from Pana & sat on the church steps to eat a container of fresh cut fruit. Glad you enjoyed your day. Great video & a pleasure to join in your day.
We were in Guatemala several years ago. The chicken buses were very rustic. No one had TVs. Especially on the chicken buses. We stayed overnight in Chichicastenango. The "taxis" were old American cars, no mufflers, ripped leather seats, and a radio blaring static. It was very beautiful. Very chaotic. The St Thomas Church looks the same. The steps. The flowers. The incense. The worshipers on their knees, approaching the alter. Great video.
Delighted to see your videos, this couple is spectacular, they have opened my appetite when they drank that delicious beef broth. and thanks for sharing how beautiful Guatemalan is 🇬🇹
That soup (caldo de res ) looked amazing! I love the large chunks of things and I think it could have been squash. I love a good homemade soup! They are the best! Great video as always my friends! Can't wait to see your next adventure!
thank you! I was there last Dec on a cruise but took an excursion to Monterrico and just loved it. You guys are so awesome to travel this way! Wish I was as brave.
Good morning from Angkor Wat temple. Very interesting couple traveling adventure. I'm enjoy full with your video. Great video creator channel Thanks you so much for your sharing
I got some of those wooden masks as a souvenirs from my past trips to guatemala. Such a good thing to display in your home. Love your guatemala videos so far.. keep them coming
Thanks for another awesome window to the world. 💚 Guatemalan textiles are exquisite, aren’t they? One of my students told me the traditional Mayan outfits were essentially slave clothes chosen and enforced by the Spanish in order to be able to tell the different groups apart but now are point of pride. The women’s clothes in that area seem kind of confining, but man, they are beautiful. 😍 And, I loved Guatemalan busses and how much they put into decorating them!
La he moción! La he moción!!! Ahhh I can feel your excitement!!!!! Beautiful beautiful!!! You know me that’s the key to my heart ❤️ Chi Chi!!! Can’t wait to see it one day!!! ❤ Chayote was the other vegetable In your caldo!!
It’s such a special place. I could just sit on the steps of the church and watch the day go by. All the beautiful colors and excitement! It’s intoxicating!
Happy Monday! Thanks for taking the chicken bus! A couple weeks ago I was hoping you'd do that so it's great to see you did. What a great way to meet people and hear their stories.
Haha!! That's my country guate, very unique,i bet that you haven't been to any other country like beautiful guatemala ,thanks for visiting my country,i just know that you will come back again ,just watch, because Guatemala will get you..
Taking the bus is quite a thrill but just helps you feel more connected to humanity and the culture. The market looked fun but my feet were hurting just watching. Hope you two were able to put those sore feet up and enjoy a quiet night.
What a Market!!! This place is massive. Chicken Bus! Lol I love that name. What a travel system 😂. Remind some of my bus travels through the Tuscan countryside. On and off, on and off...minus the chickens 😂. Love the craftsmanship of those clothes. I want the Jaguar mask. Look at that Spanish you got going on Adam. So many fresh veggies. Oh you guys are gonna enjoy Costa Rica with the fried chicken. So much great looking food!!! What a great adventure guys.
Let me tell you something: This channel is THE best thing on UA-cam! Hands down...no debate. The Discovery and/or Travel Channel needs to pick up TCC content and just run it on their networks, it's that good.
Totally agree-there are other UA-camrs that do travel blogs but this one is hands down much better-very informative, not sensationalized and gives realistic expectations and tips. I feel like their channel should be shown at schools for a social studies or geography class
Welcome to Guate guys I hope you are having a blast 😀 I love your your adventure through the Land of Eternal Spring 🇬🇹 mi Guatelinda ♥️. God bless you both.
The trifecta bus race looked like fun. At least you didn't have a long layover between transfers. The marketplace was immense, and the produce looked so much better than my local supermarket.
Hey guys, great video. Love the 80s music, now, if I am mistaken? Was that Tommy Lee from Motley Crue getting off the bus just before Adam? LOL be safe in your travels guys
Travelling in the bus was really fun. Really enjoyed the whole Vlog and yes having a guide is always helpful but exploring the city on your own as you guys did is quite adventures. Loved seeing you two again
