Hi David, Good to hear from you and if you have a picture of your father's Brough then let me know and I can probably find out if it still exists. All the best Paul.
so nice to see the Broughs at Clouds Hill. thanks for posting this, hope there will be more. You couldn't have had a better ambassador for mbikes than TE and you have maintained that tradition. I don't know why the IWM got rid of his Brough which was great to see. safe riding and thank you. peter
Hi Peter, I am glad you enjoyed watching the film and TE was a very proper motorcyclist - he bought the world's fastest motorcycles and rode them until they were crashed or worn out and then he bought another one and carried on. Running his bikes flat out on the bumpy rutted roads of the era and riding 500+ miles in a day. The Brough at the IWM (Imperial War Museum) has been in private hands for a long time and was lent to the IVM for display. The bike once changed hands for £1! Best regards Paul.
My dad had a Brough Superior with sidecar. He used to take the whole family out in it for years, great times.

A truly wonderful and still road legal sound seems to be even more expensive than speed.
Do those straight roads follow old roman tracks?
