Naturally, you cannot say that mma or combat fighting is also prohibited based upon the prior stated hadith, as those sports are not done in the musjid. To make the connection, one would have to be quite ignorant and lack comprehension and understanding of the original hadith, as they would be adding on new, unstated meaning without proper reason, which is in itself prohibited in Islam.
