The bolt holes in the spindle for the strut bolts are oval/oblong. Do you push the spindle in and tighten, or leave the spindle outward as in this video?
@@autodocuk in this video, he pushes in on the rotor and spindle. @7:47 ua-cam.com/video/9uXFqVmxXXg/v-deo.html
Hello, at 9:53 you use a Torque of 100 Nm, but you have used copper grease on the thread, which gives another friction..Shouldn't you have another torque, because of the grease?
You are right, some moments in the video were missed, but our channel is not educational but is only for informational purposes. We strongly recommend that all replacements be made exclusively by a specialized service.
AUTODOC
the amount of WD-40 is unprecedented 🤣
Good 👍👍👍
Be careful with the torque values !!! The shock absorber in the steering arm bolts (2 big bolts) that were tighten 100Nm have to be 100Nm (first step ) and then on second step 60 degrees (for V70) angle torque. This is a huge miss !!!
Yes, you are absolutely right and we will definitely take this into account in our new videos.
Please elaborate the second step?
Is Angle torque a different tool than the regular torque wrench?
Im in the middle of this job on a V70, first time doing it.
Thanks
Shall be 140Nm on the tires.

Why in God s name is he spraying everything
Thank you for your comment! It is sprayed with a special copper grease, it perfectly protects against corrosion and sticking, which will facilitate dismantling during the next replacement. Best Regards, Autodoc Team
